My two favorite Jeff Watts albums would be Black Codes and also his playing Standard Time Caravan. I do love the Branford Marsalis Trio stuff too though

This is a great video thanks guys! I had been watching Nate's videos and I remember that video where he shared Zach's video because that was my introduction to Zach. It took a little time to get used to his comedy as I am a little old grandma drummer, but that was what led me to subscribe to Zach's channel. So, Yes Nate, you in fact did help puff Zach's channel and while I cannot comment on who or who else would have subscribed, I am a fan of he, his brother and their band Everything Yes. I love the content that both your channels put out. I have learned a lot and been inspired by you both and this is another inspiring video for me. Keep banging those drums and playing the music you love. And Zach, I believe you will make a wonderful father someday. :-) I love the close relationship with your brother that you display in your videos.
Great video and glad you took my advice on grabbing an interview with zack. I have always ( in the past ) felt so alone as a jazz drummer, trying to explain what I also love about Tain ( my fav too) to a guitarist and why JDJ ( another fav ) changed how I thought about my playing to the piano player is not the same as 20 years later listening to you two confirming my feelings that I had back then. My thoughts were validated in a way as soon as they were shared. We merge with the past and shed ( not that shed ) ourselves into the people who listen to us. ( although noone listens to me ) I hope you realize the parts you are playing in future generations of players and long may it continue.
