I was on a double homicide/torcher jury this year. One of the witnesses was a homeless drug addict. She said some shocking things that made us smirk. But her testimony was damning. This is a New York State case, not federal. The two federal indictments (election interference and stealing classified document) and the other state case (Georgia election interference) will be later.
I'm a native New Yorker, and I find it fitting that Trump, who is also a New Yorker, has seen his first consequences there: Trump organization criminal tax fraud (employee benefits under the table), E. Jean Carroll defamation (twice), 2nd Trump Organization bank, insurance, and tax fraud (property values) and now criminal falsifying business records. Total financial penalties so far are approaching $600M owed to the people of NY.

He has tried over and over to have the case dismissed and he has not been able to get a judgment in his favor. If Trump would admit the affair happened, she wouldn’t need to testify. Because he denies it, she has to take the stand to testify that it happened.

2. The man decides to run for President a decade later . No law broken
3. The porn star decides to extort the man running for President by selling her “story” to a gossip magazine . Blackmail is a crime.
4. The porn star agrees to be paid US$130k as hush money by the married man’s lawyer . Payment of hush money is not a crime
5. She signs two letters claiming that she never slept with the married man
6. The man sues her and the court allocates damages to the man for over US$300k
3. Not extortion. Business transaction with a magazine.
1-7. Non of these are part of the current charges.
And falsifying business records is a crime.

I won't mention each of the other crimes but all of the evidence is piling up against him and I predict he will be found GUILTY as hell.
