Thank you for the wonderful lecture. I learned the basics of photography from my father, Sh Jagdish Chandra Prajapati, a renowned photographer in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, and a member of the Marudhar Photography Society. He taught and mentored many aspiring photographers by teaching them the fundamentals at the Hobby Centre in Jodhpur, specifically at the Girl Guides Headquarters. I am proud of my father, who imparted the magical knowledge of the exposure triangle-aperture, shutter speed, and ISO-in a way that was both engaging and practical. Using hand gestures, he would demonstrate the effects of reducing and increasing aperture settings and various shutter speeds, leaving a lasting impression on my subconscious mind. Though I am now an electrical engineer in a PSU, my passion for photography remains strong. Inspired by my father's teachings, I want to continue my journey in photography after the age of 50, leveraging the skills and insights he shared with me. My mother is now 72 years old and she also won many awards in wild life photography and first lady photographer who usrally do photography in Rajput community smt. Vijay laxmi Prajapati. Maybe one of the BEST EVER beginner's tutorials on the web, which really covers EVERYTHING. This guy definitely knows his shit and has an excellent way to explain. I really wonder how this video is free. I've seen people charging big money for much worse videos lectures. Thumbs up mate. Keep it up!
I had zero knowledge on the manual settings of my 1200D. I bought this camera 4 years ago and have been shooting only on the AUTO mode. This video was on my recommendation but after seeing the duration of the video I skipped it. But on Aug 24 2020, I was thinking why should not I spend some time to watch this video. I watched the video with patience and observed all the topics that were taught. Even I could not believe that I am using all the manual modes on my camera. Like sir said I took my camera onto the field and experimented all the tutorials taught, now I can shoot on all manual modes and I can decide how the image should be. Thank you very much sir for the quality video.
Bought my first dslr a year ago! And such a fool of me tht after a whole year of keeping tht camera in my cupboard , Now i came across this video ! 🥺❤️Thank You So very much Sir, You are indeed is what we call a ‘’MAESTRO” ! ❤️☮️

This is awesome. I have seen hundreds of videos for learning about photography but no one has been able to explain things as you do.. Your tutorial has fundas based on experience and technical knowledge... You seem to have done Ph.D in photography. blessed to learn from a knowledgeable person like you sir... keep posting more videos. we all love to watch them... best part is when you explain all the details and motivate us to try all the settings as per scenario in which we are shooting as per requirements as majority of people insist on using their personal settings. a true teacher !!!
When I started this video I had no idea that I will finish this video after 2 hours. The way you explained everything, I am never going to forget and it will help me throughout my photography journey. You are amazing Sir. Thank you so much for this knowledge.

Wow! First of all, I just want to commend you and thank you for sharing such wonderful information for a photographer of your caliber with your credentials. I am an aspiring model and vlogger and have been researching different cameras and information for the last two months. I cannot believe that I came across this video and learned so much in such a small amount of time. This is literally The Best Informative Video I have ever come across. You are an excellent teacher.. very humble and obviously amazing at what you do. You are selfless making this FREE photography video looking for nothing in return. Now that's what I call Passion. Thank you again Sudhir. Liked, subscribed and shared on all my social media platforms!!!!! - Jessica Valdez, USA
I am happy Sudhir gave the introduction, as it gave me confidence that what he would say would be truthful and non-questionable. He is entitled to be proud of his achievements too. I started a photography course at university, but didn't continue after finding out the teacher was only a wedding photographer with no qualifications. He was opinionated and gave false information that was called out on occasion by students, and he became defensive trying to cover his mistakes. He would say to himself, but loud enough for us to hear, that he found it wrong that students were questioning him. My mention of him being just a wedding photographer, is because here in Queensland Australia, one can just pay a small amount of money to the government and be licensed as a wedding photographer. No need for qualifications or an apprenticeship. So I could buy a camera today, with absolutely no knowledge, and apply and be recognised as a wedding photographer. These online tutorials are what I train myself with now. I do stop following anyone that gives incorrect information though, as it puts doubt in one's mind that what is being taught may not be correct. So thankfully, people like Sudhir are valuable and appreciated.
Sir i seek your blessing to become good photographer using a DSLR camera, what a brief, in depth session, exactly what i was looking for. I kept on making written notes to come back to it later, and paused at various places as i found every sentence coming out of your mouth note worthy. thanks for this amazing session.
As a keen but neophyte photographer this is the best help I got from anybody. As an user of a Canon DSLR myself the brand jargons did not mercifully present any problem for me either.
Just found your channel today... The best forty-five minutes I've spent all week! Wonderful course and you have a sincere and warm personalty. Be well, stay encouraged, and thanks again for an amazing session. Oh yeah, I "Liked and Subscribed!"
He's trying to sell his video, its just an ad. There are thousands of free tutorials in TH-cam. Go for free, do not waste your money on him, he's just a crap I think..
"...He's just a crap I think." What's that supposed to mean? He has the credentials, he has the experience, and he has the subscribership. If you're not interested in his video, don't buy or worry about it Jijo john. Produce your own so we can see what you've got. I might decide to purchase it! Be well and try to stay encouraged Mr. john :-)
Don't have a camera but watched the whole video no one explains thing the way you did reignited the interest in photography which had got subdued for a long time. Beautiful explained Sir. Thank you
I just buy Canon 1300d & searching for someone who give perfect tutorial. Just saw 10 min. Of your introduction & subscribed your channel. No doubt finally i found someone who i really need. Hope I'll learn photography perfectly. Cause it's my passion. Huge respect to you sir. 🙏

For years I’ve had dreams of being a photographer, but fear has been a detriment. I am a makeup artist by trade in nyc. But I so want to take pictures of my work. But now, I will buy a camera. God Bless You for this course! 🙏🏼
I have been struggling with my camera for years but this tutorial is best by far and for the first time I have understood thoroughly the various functions and how to use them. It has rejuvenated my interest and given me the confidence to pursue further. I cannot thank you enough. I wish you continued success.

Wow , ever since I was 10 year old I wanted to be a photographer, now I'm 36 all these I didn't have opportunity to became a professional photographer, now family commitments too. But I never gave up, got my canon camera and love nature and wildlife. But I never could afford to go to course, now I am glad that I found your amazing toturial that I have learnt a lot. I only wish I could be in one of your class. But as I live in the UK I would definitely love to register and get 1 year member and I hope I can Learn as much as possible in the time. At first I couldn't understand him - When you get passed that small hurdle, you will find this video to be the MOST informative video on TH-cam. The title doesn't lie, I am 30 minutes in and already a better photographer. Great Video. Liked and Subbed.
OMG, this was an AMAZING TUTORIAL. I truly felt like I was in a classroom in front of my teacher, fully emerged into the subject of basic settings of my Canon EOS Rebel T3 camera. It's my 2nd purchase, but my most expensive semi professional camera that now with this tutorial I'm more confident than ever to take better pictures. Looking forward to new photographic adventures, and I thank you sooo sooo much for sharing your passion, wisdom and knowledge of photography. I'm now a forever fan! Peace and Blessing to you 🙏🏽❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰
Great lecture. The flawless free flow words of each point shows your years of experience in this particular field. Good photographers may be available. But good photography teachers are rare. You are one such awesome guru. Lucid languge with proper guideline on screen using actual camera's settings is the best way to teach even to a fresher. Will join the course ASAP sir.
Thank you! This was super helpful. I just got a DSLR and was struggling to understand how to balance all the elements together. This was a thorough explanation.
Hello Sudhir. Thank you very much for this video. After a watching 40min in, I looked at my Canon EOS 1300D and I was literally speechless. So much power possessed and so much ignorance to the one who wields the (blade).
Tutorial clears my confusion about triangle parameter because i used to fully manual (M) mode and it was to hard to set all of those stuffs. Thanks a lot!
big b thakuri yoi don't have to but for me using 7dmk2 was easier to use M mode but since moving to 5dmk4 its a pleasure using AV mode especially without flash where low ligjttor using flash isn't necessary. But one thing I thing his wrong is that shooting RAW allows you to use AWB because you can change that once you process RAW image unless you really go for that bluish haze

the academics to present your qualification as well as your portfolio or showreel before you start sharing knowledge. I agree with Joshua, its lack of sincerity and jealous. it takes
talent and high levels of skill to get such awards and credentials, please help yourselves by working hard and still may not even get any of what this gentle has achieved and received.
Congrats Sudhir, quality teaching and spot on. Please keep up with the great work.

The fact these were the basics blew my mind. I had underestimated the complexity of Photography by light years.
As someone who likes photography but struggles with aperture and ss setting etc etc I think this guy is good at explaining it to a dummie like me.
You didn't need to teach us. But you did. A BIG THANK YOU to you for making knowledge easy and available for people who want to appreciate photography.
This is the BEESSST tutorial I've ever seen......My photography skills have doubled. Thank you Sir!!!!!

Maybe one of the BEST EVER beginner's tutorials on the web, which really covers EVERYTHING. This guy definitely knows his shit and has an excellent way to explain. I really wonder how this video is free. I've seen people charging big money for much worse videos lectures. Thumbs up mate. Keep it up!
Thank you for your kind words :)
Sudhir Shivaram Photography I rarely comment on youtube videos. What I said is true. Others would charge money for content of half the quality.
Happy to know that you have put your learning to practical use. Good luck with your photography...
Bought my first dslr a year ago! And such a fool of me tht after a whole year of keeping tht camera in my cupboard , Now i came across this video ! 🥺❤️Thank You So very much Sir, You are indeed is what we call a ‘’MAESTRO” ! ❤️☮️

I feel strangely compelled to watch it all the way thru. Don't wanna let this guy down.
There's a genuineness and humility that shines through Sudhir Shivaram's tutorial.
LOLLL
😂😂😂
lol same!!
Yeah, considering how much effort he put for us, I felt compelled to watch the whole video too.
Finally, I found a good Instructor for my photography - Happy Repubic Day!
Glad I could help!
When I started this video I had no idea that I will finish this video after 2 hours. The way you explained everything, I am never going to forget and it will help me throughout my photography journey. You are amazing Sir. Thank you so much for this knowledge.

For anyone reading this and new in photography. Follow this to the end and you will love it that you found this channel. I used this almost two years ago and I have always credited my photography to this tutorial.
Thanks...

Yea
Mr. John your pictures are very beautiful wish you can teach me more
Sir i seek your blessing to become good photographer using a DSLR camera, what a brief, in depth session, exactly what i was looking for.
Glad it helped.
It's awesome. If anyone really try to understand about the basic photography it is a treasure. Thanks a million from my heart ❤️
I watched full and now i am a better photographer .
It's because of you sir. Thank you sir :-)
Just found your channel today... The best forty-five minutes I've spent all week! Wonderful course and you have a sincere and warm personalty. Be well, stay encouraged, and thanks again for an amazing session. Oh yeah, I "Liked and Subscribed!"
Jacob Christian Glover ko ko ko Mo
Agree
He's trying to sell his video, its just an ad. There are thousands of free tutorials in TH-cam. Go for free, do not waste your money on him, he's just a crap I think..
ko ko ko Mo? Don't quite understand, please explain. Thanks in advance!
Thank you
Glad it was helpful!
I just buy Canon 1300d & searching for someone who give perfect tutorial. Just saw 10 min. Of your introduction & subscribed your channel. No doubt finally i found someone who i really need. Hope I'll learn photography perfectly. Cause it's my passion.

Perfect perfect perfect... Sir, each & every words of your is worth. My search for a good photography tutorial class ends here. Thanks a million...
Giving out your credentials is very important nowadays. Especially people who give medical advice on TH-cam. I don't think it is bragging, just some points that make me feel confident in listening. Great tutorial. Thank you so much.

After watching this video, I felt that I'm the only person sitting in a classroom and sir teaching only me with every word he throws directly hits my brain. Thankyou sir. I am a big fan of your photography. I want to learn more from your online classes.
Glad to hear that. Yes, please do subscribe to my online photography courses.

Agreed 👍 from India
Not jealous just that in the Western World ppl usually do not react well to people who go on about themselves for so long.
Salute for ur achievements.
And sharing a great knowledge of photography

OMG, this was an AMAZING TUTORIAL. I truly felt like I was in a classroom in front of my teacher, fully emerged into the subject of basic settings of my Canon EOS Rebel T3 camera. It's my 2nd purchase, but my most expensive semi professional camera that now with this tutorial I'm more confident than ever to take better pictures. Looking forward to new photographic adventures, and I thank you sooo sooo much for sharing your passion, wisdom and knowledge of photography. I'm now a forever fan! Peace and Blessing to you 🙏🏽❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰
Just gone through the session, it was very helpful as I'm beginner. I was waiting and searching for a session like yours Sir. Thanks alot sir.
You are a good teacher now I'm a professional I'm in control of my camera. Watching you from south Africa
Many thanks!
Hmm really great
Thank you! This was super helpful. I just got a DSLR and was struggling to understand how to balance all the elements together. This was a thorough explanation.

Best Tutorial to me of all in a short explanation. Thank you, sir !!
It’s more theoretical than practical. It’s great for beginners who doesn’t know anything about photography.
Best video I ever watched on Photography, short n sweet . Absolute tool for beginner training
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you so much Sir for this excellent tutorial. You not only are a good human and a great photographer but you Sir are also a great teacher.
So nice of you
EXCELLENT job! 1,000 Haters. Like OF COURSE you talked about how great you are .... how many ppl make videos called "How to become a great ..." and are only armatures. Be happy he's got receipts.
After a watching 40min in, I looked at my Canon EOS 1300D and I was literally speechless. So much power possessed and so much ignorance to the one who wields the (blade).
Nice to know that.
I have 1500D with 18-55mm lens...I love photography.
Ive watched several tutorials here in YT. But thanks to you coz ure the best.
Wow, thanks!
