This is fantastic! No exposed seams but without the added bulk of a lining. Also, I love the fabric. I'm so sad Ikea stopped selling them by the yard.
Out of curiosity, why not sew down the tunnel right after pressing it?

Yes! Such a shame Ikea stopped selling the fabrics! I managed to find a couple of gems in the past. You could sew the tunnel right away, but if you want to add a handle or strap and catch it inside the tunnel it's easier to do it later. So I tend to follow the same steps everytime :)
