    I just love this. You are so helpful in my Watercolourpainting when you tell my how much water I should have in my brush an of course all the other helpful words. Thank you so much ❤

    Loved the tutorial. Can’t wait to try. My new favorite color is Moonglow! Makes nice snow shadows to. Thanks for sharing Emily.

    Thank you for the traceable. Learning to draw is on my bucket list. Maybe next year. In the meantime I will trace and paint this while I dream of a red velvet cupcake.☺️

    Thank you for your videos! They're very helpful. I especially like that you live in a dryer climate like I do :D it feels like in most of the watercolor videos people have a lot of time to work but that never happens to me, so seeing how to work around the climate is nice. And you show the reference photo!

    For the lebenzon brushes you used in this tutorial, how long are the bristles? It didn’t say in the description. Thank so much for a wonderful tutorial.

    • @EmilyOlsonArt
      @EmilyOlsonArt  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! You can't go wrong with 3/4" or 1" bristle length. The Itty Bitty Orange is 3/4" and the Wangi is 1 inch.

    Thank you for another fabulous tutorial!
    You have an outstanding sense of color along with great realism and understatement in your drawings that is completed by your paintings. Do you recommend any publications to help people to learn drawing?

      Thank you, Tracy! You make my job easy with your great brushes. :)
      Great question, too.
      A book that changed my life is "Figure Drawing for all It's Worth" by Andrew Loomis. Even if you want to draw other subject matter besides people, this book is SO helpful for anyone who wants to learn!

    So yummy, and thanks for the clear instructions on the frosting especially. It looks so beautiful! Can I ask you about your intro? How did you create the animated watercolor background with the dog and your name and the little music jingle? That's adorable, and so professional!

    • @EmilyOlsonArt
      @EmilyOlsonArt  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for your comment! For the intro animation I bought an AfterEffects template from Envato and hired someone on Upwork to customize it with my logo and artwork. Well worth it to hire someone for a small task if you don't know how to do it! :)

    I love your videos. I get the best results from them even tho i only half pay attention 😆. (Sorry) And try as I might- there's one video i really want to be able to replicate- I can't get it on the other video. I'm usually pretty good at "copy and paste" essentially. Doesn't matter what it is. Once i got it, I got it. Doesn't take long. But painting is not my fortè, i gotta tell ya
