I agree that it seems driver quality is more important, generally , than fancy Codecs. So, I'm sure sound quality is fine. But the popping sound on the phone calls was very noticeable! That being said , Edifier is one brand l haven't dabbled in yet. I might have to change that! Also, wanted to mention that that's a beautiful property you have there! Very impressive!😊
I've got these, white version. I bought for my wife and... decided to keep them for myself. Good ANC, good sound quality, comfortable, decent battery life. What i dislike is that touch controls - they just don't work for me, i tried. The worst part is that i cannot turn it off in settings so i use to accidentaly pause music from time to time. I would prefer a physical buttons.
Love my original TWS 1 Pro - great sound, insane battery life. These new ones were a real disappointment and I returned them. First, they were defective, producing noise in one of the earbuds. The app is not adequate - no real equalizer, and with only double and triple tap (no single tap or tap and hold) it's not possible to have adequate controls on the earbuds.
Yeah I send them back with refund but they sounds great. I am curious is just my pair or other have same issue. Infested in local environment 15 meters with walls and didn't lose connection it's weird 😅
Hey Aaron! Great video 👍 well said, would you compared them to the soundcore a20i or 1More omthing? Or even the Tozo nc 7 / 9 uff so many options loool Amazing review as always! Thanks 🙏
hi, i just bought and I'm having trouble understanding the anc mode. i can't seem to activate it through tapping motion or in the apps. it gives notification like "only available when the left and the right headphones are used at the.. and I can't read the rest of it 😅
i can activate the high noise cancellation when only the left bud is in my ear, but it deactivates right after I insert the right bud in my right ear. is this normal?
ANC isn't supposed to activate in mono mode (single L or R use). What might be happening is something might be covering the other unused earbuds wear detection sensor. When that happens, the earbuds thinks both buds are in use and will allow switching between noise cancelling modes.
Great question... Apple will default to SBC if paired with a device that doesn't do AAC. And since this earbud is optimized for SBC only, sound should be good enough for most listeners. Hope that helps some!
Precisely, at this price (as I mentioned in the video) with limitations in hardware - if the manufacturer can optimize SQ (which is really the point), I don't see a problem with "lesser" codecs.
Thank you as always for your support, fam! Y'all are the best. Remember to check out my affiliate links above :)

The popping might've been the mics peaking (maybe with plosives?).

Hear hear, I much prefer physical controls as well. Touch needs to die.

Appreciate you sharing your experience. Bummer about the defect. 😔
They receive any controls update?
❤
recetly my dog atte one of my earbuds :( maybe is time to try some edifier products. Excelent review and video as always 🤙
Did you try retrieving the buds from your dog? Might need a good wash.
@@gearupaaron Actually i got it back, but in pieces
How abt Sir Sound Quality especially like Bass? Is it Good as well?
great sound but my had problem i lose connection on walk so often, sometimes move head in one direciton make disconnect for 1 second... very anoying.
Man, that would grow old really fast if that happened to my unit. Warranty?

Thanks Daniel! Man, at these low prices, it's hard to choose. All your suggestions are great options with not much separating them.

I hear the crackling sound through the mics. Hope Edifier can fix this through firmware.
Yeah, it clips quite a bit.
do these sound better than the Edifier W240TN ? which one of the earphones or earbuds from the brand Edifier sound best ?
I'd say the older model sounds better.
The app is probably better on these, but I feel like the Tozo nc7's are killing these in almost every way for $10 less.
Thanks for the tip! 👍 Anyone else own these Tozos too?
Hello bro, do you know when you will give the winner of the SOUNDPEATS headphones?
Unfortunately no one met the contest criteria. 😕
Thanks Much !.......
The older TWS1 had golden shiny trims ....
It's a downgrade these new ones don't.
do you think i should get these or the soundcore a3i?
Both are very solid, unless if you're especially already in the Soundcore app ecosystem, then stick with the A30.
If i use iphone will the sound be bad than android bcz of codecs?

@@gearupaaronwill it be inferior then than an android?
Poor Battery life with no AAC? Yo! already disappointing for not having a simple audio codec..
50 dollars a the max is SBC! Is a joke! Why do you even cover this?
Codec is just a gimmick for cheap earbuds

@@gearupaaron any SoundPeats product is better or the Edifier TWS1 pro is better. For cheaper. I do not get why this product even exists.
@@HungTran-wf3gu yeah! For you!
The status between anc doesn’t use hifi codecs and nothing beats it’s sound…so codecs don’t matter if the product is quality made…😊
Bad battery like, shame
True that.
