If you end the "explorer.exe" and everything goes black screen, incase you don't wanna get an a* whooping, press CTRL + SHIFT + ESC. Task Manager will open up, click on "File" below the Task Manager logo and then click "Run new task" and type "explorer.exe", hit enter then boom, its fixed.

thanks buddy, the "resmon" didn't work (the process wasn't showing), but admin command prompt worked, first copied the address of the file I wanted to delete (the pesky idmshellext64.dll), then open command prompt as admin, then open task manager and kill the "explorer.exe", then back to admin prompt and type your command and paste the address of the file (right click and paste), hit enter and the thing was gone, then open task manager again and "new process" and "explorer.exe" and enter
