A performance full of sound, precision and unison. Had fun watching this as it makes one smile. Hope they had as much fun dancing this as I had watching this. Thanks for posting - appreciate it.
That was a wrong time in history for black Americans to be seen represented in entertainment/Arts. Black Americans are not taken seriously for anything but arts/ entertainment and sports.
I do not agree .. my team covering Latin America, during that time, for a very prestigious financial institution, working with Chairman and owners of companies as their advisor… One of the most amazing team team members was black, the family was from Ghana… And he traveled with me to Japan in Latin America etc. along side the Brazilian teammates… and from El Salvador… and American team mates… and one from Sequin….We had a team of 10 and nobody saw him as an artist… They saw him as a brilliant brilliant banker and strategist, who learned Spanish in six months so that he could take this job and travel with us… Richard was and is an amazing human being, and so was my boss at the bank who was also black… Dwayne went on to organize one of the top private equity funds in this country… in the arts some amazing people are black, and so?? they also have white tap dancers… Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly and Ann Miller etc.… Which are also admired… Different kind of tap dancing but still tap ..… I am Latina, and I never thought I was less… Yes people called me names etc when I was a The University Alabama, coming with my accent straight from my country, but I paid no attention… Too bad for them that they didn’t get to know me because I am amazing!
