Well explained. If you do see cloud in a high pressure system, eg in winter this can be produced by a separate approaching weather front. I often see this where cold front wins vs (weak) high pressure. Nice explanation Susan!
Does the anticyclone inhibits stops the process of the jet streams For example: does the high pressure system pushes away the progress of the low pressure system ? Or is the other way around? Because I’m in the Middle East so I would like to know more informations about.... and it will be great and very helpful if you could give me a link and the informations that your going to provide for me so I can be more aware about the same topic. Thanks in advance.
Ma'am one question please. We all now know that, cyclone spins counterclockwise (anticlockwise) in northern hemisphere and clockwise in southern hemisphere. But how about in equator?? Which direction would it take to spin??
Well i am not her, but like she said, since there is a difference in the flow direction between the northern hemisphere and the southern hemisphere, a cyclone is not likely to cross the equator, and therefore i would guess it would disintegrate or start to degrade as it approaches the equator (Similar to the water flow in southern and northern hemisphere.)
No Coriolis force at equator so no cyclone at equator ... Also It's cyclone's wish ... He can form wherever he wants ... What u gotta do with it anyways ?
cyclones occur most commonly on 5° to 20° lat due to the coriolis effect and other factors like pressure gradient and sometimes friction. from what I know, cyclones do NOT occur on the equator. it’s just wind flowing in one direction
Cyclones cannot form close to the equator because of the lack of coriolis force. Also tropical cyclones form due to convectional rise of warm air in the tropics (8-35° latitudes) while temperate cyclones form between 30 and 60° latitudes due to frontogenesis of two distinct air masses. Another thing regarding your question, cyclones cannot cross the equator because of two things. 1) easterlies never cross the equator. Why? Because coriolis turns them away from the equator. So cyclones will not be carried cross equatorially. And 2) if it was even able to cross the equator, the rotation would have been stopped by the coriolis acting in the opposite direction.
Studying for my pilot exams and this is a really easy and clear explanation. Thank you!
same here tho i find the explanation here a bit confusing

Are you applying for pilot
Well explained. Thank you!
This video helped me a lot. Thank you mam.
Very helpful video, thanks!
Great explination ,that was very helpful ❤️💕
well explained bravoooo
thank you, very helpful
Thanks!
Straight to the point :)

Thanks for the explanation. It was really helpful :)
One of the best videos on the internet. But I didn't understand the Hurricane katrina concept
Very good explanation. Thnx
Thank you Susan
Very helpful ma'am......
Thank you....
Nice explanation.
Helpful video
Thank you,this really helped a lot🤞🏿
Hi

I like you. Thank o lot😍
why there is a subsidence of warm air mass in anticyclone?
thanks
