  • After assembling our two-person sauna kit earlier in the day (part 1) we're back to finish the build. These mail order sauna kits come flat packed and can be assembled by just two people with minimal experience and tools in just an afternoon.

Hows it go? No insulation or anything does it keep the heat in well

Hey. This sauna uses an electric heater, hardwired to the houses' grid. It's not insulated, as it is really only meant to stay hot for the duration of use, so a few hours max. Once you turn the heater off, it cools down relatively quick. But also heats up fast too!

do you recommend mend steam or infrared saunas?

Good Question. They're very different. Personally I prefer traditional steam or dry saunas, as the sweat is more intense. But a lot of folks love infrared. Check out our guide to different sauna types here if you're curious: www.fieldmag.com/articles/types-of-sauna-guide

Do you have to pay extra for that

You will need a handful of common tools to assemble the kit. Hiring an electrician is extra. Hope that helps!
