Can you do a video on how much electricity it pulls for that hour it takes to warm up, also does it just stay that hot and the heater doesn’t need to turn on after that hour or will it cycle?

Help! I love your videos, but how did you ultimately decide to go with Redwood over Plunge? You did a review on Plunge a couple months back and I was sold, but now I'm thinking Redwood?
If you were to move houses would you be able to bring this sauna with you or would it be too difficult?
Also you should make a video reviewing the heater and app. I can’t find any reviews on TH-cam showing what the app looks like and how it functions
I’m sure it’s “possible” but I don’t think I’d try it. Once this beast is setup I would assume it’s there forever. lol

I have the 6 foot barrel without the porch. I didn’t find the thermometer they provided accurate. I purchased a bulb thermometer from a lab and the temp was way lower than the read from the Redwood Outdoors sauna. The backing is paper and it gets warped and traps the dial. I purchased the 6kw heater unfortunately and the hottest I can get my sauna is around 175. I’m eventually going to have to replace it with the 8kw with wifi control. Don’t get the 6kw unless you go with a smaller sauna!
I have a few thermometers I use and they are all different. lol I guess if I’m sweating my butt off it’s good and hot.
I just used your coupon code. Thanks. Did you end up sealing the outside of sauna? If so, what sealer did you use? Any fumes from the sealant leak into the unit during use? Thanks!
Awesome! I bought a sealer but haven’t done it and not sure I am. It’s faded a little but it looks cool and the wood is fine. Which one did you get?!
@@DavidMausJr thanks! Makes sense. Supposedly they are built for life without sealant so I may just go that route and let it be. I got the Redwood 8 person barrel with 8kw WiFi and flat floor, shingles and heater protector accessories. I’m excited. Great review!

Are you familiar with almost heaven saunas? I’m going to get a barrel sauna and was thinking of getting it from Costco but I’m wondering what differences are there between these two companies?
There are a bunch of different saunas on the market. Good news is they all basically get hot.
Things to look out for that make a difference in price:
Wood Material, not all cedar is the same quality.
Heating component. Some get hotter. Some last longer.
Features. Lights. Windows. Screws/nails. Weather proof. Etc.
Straight alibaba from China
You have said that before. Send me your findings. No doubt you can get barrel saunas similar from alibaba. But that’s doesn’t mean these are them. Or does it? Educate me my friend.
I also saw these could be straight from China when digging into this brand after watching the review, although I couldn’t find anything definitive one way or the other so I’m not sure. And to be fair I wouldn’t necessarily say there’s anything wrong with from China just something I wouldn’t mind knowing pre purchase. Great review though this is on my radar still trying to figure out exactly what sauna and cold tub I’m going to invest in. Keep the great reviews coming!!

Am getting nervous as the 8 person sauna I ordered in Jan still has not arrived. I keep getting told that delay is due to "supply chain issues"..first it's first part of May, then mid May, then first of June, and now mid to late June. Did some research, and instead of sauna being built "on site" that it's actually shipped from China to their facility. The reviews on BBB are horrible, especially on hot tubs. Parts missing, hardware cheap, leaks on tubs. Am waiting for phone call from them, as email isn't cutting it. Company is not very transparent!!!
