Got a six week treatment at my local salon because of u and i love it! Not a frizz in sight! Since it doesn’t last as long it’s a bit milder and when i wear it curly it’s really cute! Very defined like a jerry curl or something lol no frizz wet or dry love it
I’ll do this after my next treatment but it’s not affected, I’ve gotten rained on before and just had the slightest poof but after my hair being wrapped for the night it was back super sleek
How often do you do your keratin treatments? And do you have a video of your weekly hair care routine or something along those lines? If so can you point me in the direction to it? Thank you 🙏🏾
I love my hair in twists. I’ve had these African twists for a decade and a half. And now I’m ready to for keratin treatment. Thanks for helping me along this journey. (I’m entering the giveaway here)
Amazingggg job I’m going to be trying the Ion treatment tho since I can get it from Sally’s plus it’s formaldehyde free let’s see how it goes fingers crossed it comes out as bomb as yours! 💗
Ladies, don't be afraid to do keratin, I have 4c hair and have done keratin about 7 times already. But after the 3rd time, I advise you to do keratin only on the roots that have grown back, because the ends will be dry. But if you are not satisfied that the length on which the keratin was will be loose, you can do botox. GIRLS, IF YOU HAVE KERATIN AND YOU PLAN TO DYE YOUR HAIR, DON'T REPEAT MY MISTAKE! after dyeing my hair, it became brittle and dry (. also, before doing keratin, you need to think about whether you will regret it, because now I sometimes regret it a little and miss my curls^^
@@shiningstar7775 If you want to dye your hair in a different color, it should be done either 7 days before the keratin procedure, or at least 2 weeks after it. In both cases, it is important that the hair dye does not contain ammonia. It is better to paint with professional ammonia-free paints, in case of dryness and split ends, it is necessary to consult a trichologist, who will prescribe the necessary hair care.
I also do not recommend bleaching your hair, because after that the hair will be dry and brittle. I speak from my experience, I think lightening will be okay if you do not plan to do keratin anymore.
Hey! Congrats! You’re the winner of the giveaway! ❤️ thanks for being a supporter of my channel. Please send a email to SimplySubrena@gmail.com with your shipping info
I have a question, you mentioned that you life the Cliove and that it leaves your hair silky and straight, if you wanted to use a barrel curling iron just to add a little wave to your hair, do you think it would hold? or is your hair so straight that it would even hold a style, wave or barrel curl?
You look gorgeous! I am definitely getting a keratin. I just ordered the shampoo and the treatment , and got the 10% discount for using SUBRENA!!! Thanks!!!! However, I am afraid to do my own hair. Does your stylist do a keratin? I just moved from Florida to Georgia. I am willing to travel to Altamonte Springs. BTW… any recommendations of a stylist in Atlanta?
I don’t know any stylist in GA but I would search the hashtag keratintreatmentga or wherever your city is and see who pops up. My stylist doesn’t specialize in it but message her on IG, she’ll let you know @glam_with_shan
Thanks for a great video. You are beautiful & your hair is amazing. I have been getting salon keratin treatments for 5 years or so and & thinking of doing them myself. Would you please tell me what the active ingredient is in this product? I’ve read that some have lye and some have formaldehyde. You said to 50% natural but I am curious what the main ingredients are. Thanks again!!
You are so beautiful 😍 since your hair gets hot to the touch, may I suggest that glove that’s used with the iron that gives spiral curls. I’m sorry I can’t seem to remember the name of the iron at this time. I Love your videos your hair has flourished beautifully.
Hi! You’re so pretty! 🤍💝 I use my aloe vera plants to make my deep conditioning masks too and my hair is flourishing! Can steaming take the place of deep conditioning since the steam seems to just be the upgraded version of a heated cap during conditioning? Or is this in addition to DC
I have been using the same keratin treatment since I saw your video in November. I love it. However, I struggle with flatironing. My hair is still always quite fluffy, it's straight but just looks blow dried. I would like a much sleeker look. Any tips? Also so thankful for this video because I am doing my second treatment since December in the next two weeks. And, Straining the aloe mixture helps prevent the chunks
Is it getting poofier over time while the treatment is washing out or you’re experiencing puffy hair even right after applying the treatment? If it’s right after the treatment you’re probably not sealing in the treatment enough with the heat temperature of your flat iron or the amount of passes you’re doing. It’s normal as time goes on and with constant washing for your hair to revert but immediately after doing the treatment your hair should be the silkiest/smoothest/straightest
The puffiness is right after the treatment. I used 8 passes for each section. Maybe the sections were too big. Maybe it was the flat iron. I havent used much heat on my hair over the last 8 years, i have been a curly girl. I probably just dont know what i am doing. Just in case its my flat iron, I just ordered the flat iron that you use. I hope that will help. Thanks for the help! Love your videos!
On average every 4-6 months depending on how hard my hair is to manage and what i have going on . After month 4 I typically protective style until the treatment to avoid any breakage
Yes but I advise to do it a few weeks before the treatment, not the day of because of the amount of heat you need for the treatment is a no no for freshly died hair
I just got a keratin treatment (Love it thanks to you!❤) and my hair loved Aphogee 2 step protein treatment, soI’m not sure if it’s ok to use them both 🤷🏽♀️ Can an Aphogee 2 step protein treatment be done after your hair has gone through a keratin treatment?
How long have you been doing your own keratin treatments? I currently have received two at the salon and as I go along I would possibly consider retouching at home.
It’s a smoothing and silkening treatment. To me it’s a healthier version of a relaxer, it deposits keratin on your hair which will make it stronger and it’s also reversible as it washes out over time with shampoo, especially sulfate based one. It’s great for individuals who like to wear their natural straight and don’t have to worry about frizz or reversion
Do you feel that each strand of your hair have become thicker after the treatment? i am looking at getting this result rather than pin straight hair. Thanks for sharing.
After a couple months my curly texture starts coming back. It’s not permanent it does wash out after time. Of you use sulfate shampoo it washes out faster
Been a keratin girl for 12 years and no going back love it
Do you have Afro hair ?
How did you protect ur hair from damaging?
How long do they last? I HAVE 4A HAIR
@@lightlydark416depending on the treatment 8-12 weeks. Use products that come with the system to maintian

I like keratin bc I like a change in hair texture but I usually do it once a year

Looks good. I do it on my natural black male hair. Mine stripped though from shampoo. You have to use a soft shampoo.
Use a system that has the shampoo and conditioner to replenish the keratin
Sulfate free shampoos are a must with keratin for the longevity
Your hair looks really good
Great in depth process for this treatment ❤️ Thanks for sharing 😁
A video of your regular routine flat iron day would be great
Love your beautiful silky hair. Just did mine and I’m loving it.
Love that for you!!
Great job. Your results are beautiful
Well explained. Thanks for sharing 💕💕
I recommend the babyliss pro nano titanium flat iron as a professional hair stylist
Even for fine hair? Long term?
@@SimplySubrena yes on low heat , adjust to your hair type. For keratin treatments titanium is recommended for better results
@@SimplySubrena i rather use ceramic for styling, titanium only for keratin treatments or thick coarse hair

No, too much protein

Do you feel that each strand of your hair have become thicker after the treatment? i am looking at getting this result rather than pin straight hair. Thanks for sharing.
