If I dislike one thing about this match, then that I cannot see one of these two in the WC anymore. This game deserved no lower. This could be easily a semi final match in terms of quality.

It's funny I seen a comment the other day saying Lewis doesn't have it anymore and the persons comments was everyone in my pub could beat Lewis he is shocking. To which I replied so I'm guessing u have all the top 10 players in the world there coz even when Lewis isn't on he can still hang in there with the top 5 and can still rattle of a 9 darter here and there and does well in some tourneys. just doesn't have the consistency he did in 12'
Got to the final in 2016 without playing his best darts.
I'm guessing he will still beat just about any pub player out there even at 50% 😂
No disrespect to anyone out there as there are some quality player in the pub leagues but to beat AD I really don't think so 😂

@@hoofhearted8251 Oh so =True and that fucking woman commentating was so nauseating not to mention Ihappened to watch her play at the BDO womens worlds she averaged fucking 60,and went out in first round and had to listen to for two effin weeks of my life.
And instead of just enjoying the brilliance of this set and the drama of the match you bring up her name. Makes sense to me.

This World Championship has to be the best ever and we are barely half way though. So many great matches and so many great moments. Darts and Christmas is awesome 😀

@@mariovh ohhh I agree Taylor's level was way above the current crop. I just can't remember a year where pretty much every game is going down to the wire, it's been great to watch so far but yes I miss the Power. I wish he would do some guest commentary for the championship.

@@corcleiren6770 I think he deserves to be where he is currently... In the top 16 for sure knocking on the top 10 door but not making it... His averages tell the story if you can't go over 94 that's just not good enough
@@corcleiren6770 people forget how long Lewis has been playing he was a pro at 19-20 so he's probably not got the hunger any more, he's won everything there is to win and got a young family probably wants to spend time with them when he's not playing tournaments giving him less time to practice

Ever since Mad Gerrrrr Price barked / growled / howled / snorted and screamed, in that infamous match with Sooky-Boy Anderson, every bloody Dart Player is barking, screaming, a-hollerin' and shodow-boxing/air-punching everytime they score more than 26 (Bed & Brekky). It's ludicrous!!!!! Has Sky Sports put'em up to it to boost their already huge TV ratings??? I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it...... but it just seems as though "Howling Gerrrrrr" has paved the way. Gone are the days of beer-swilling drunkards, as they have been replaced by fat-bellied UFC wannabees. (I've just screamed, growled and punched the monitor while I was typing this..... sheesh!!!! it must be contagious)

In the sixties I had a set of brass darts with a dial on the barrel, all I had to do was dial the double or treble I needed to hit and they never missed, one drunken night I left them in the club and never saw them again.
The commentator said it was 11 perfect darts but it was 12 in a row if you watch it back
The title is a bit too much for me since the last legg wasn't that close and it wasn't a final in a deciding sett or anything...

Obviously the 3 dart averages in that set weren't off the charts but 3 ton plus finishes and a near 9 darter is pretty special. If Lewis had nailed the 126 in the 5th leg it would have been very special.
