Reminds me of back when Megaforce was airing and i got Robo Knight's tank mech as a gift and i hadnt seen either MF or Goseiger so i had no idea that i needed two more zords to form the legs
Best feature: he can transform without removing the Titan Master from the helmet.
All Leaders except Blaster and Soundwave can be transformed without removing the Titan Master. A very good design choice by Hasbro.

i think Dreadnought is Giga & Mega's son who inherited his parents Transtectors, but unfortunately he can only pilot one of the machines due to not having a partner.
Actually that makes alot of sense and I support this theory
I created a fan mode that combines the two machines, it looks like Transformers Armada Tidal Wave's combined vehicle, I call it Overlord's spaceship mode. I show it off in my review of Overlord.
Guys, GUYS!!! The chest opening feature IS for the Power of the Primes line! It's to use the power of two of the Prime Masters! Honestly, I would use Leige Maximo and Megatronus with him.
Some hypothesize that the ports in his chest are actually for the new "Power of the Primes" line.
agreed this guy is clearly the titans return's equivalent of buzzsaw as he has a gimmick meant for the next line though unlike buzzsaw he also does a better job of fitting in with the line he is actually in

That "shield" as you called it is a deployable flying drone weapon called Mega Child.
I was able to use Sixshot and Sky Shadow's heads in the chest, although I had the legs forward to look more like godmasters. Sky Shadow's titanmaster is somewhat based off of Mega, and with the black colouring it doesn't look too bad with Overlord's titanmaster to have the pair back together.

What's more chaotic is that there are two figures in the Japanese release, matching up its two Godmasters Giga and Mega, a husband & wife duo.
Don’t forget the accompanying manga that came with the release which showed off a “combination” of two Overlords
I wish everyone would drop the parts forming hate. Parts forming has been part of Transformers from the very start. Having a better toy due to parts forming would be great

While that might be, with modern engineering it's kind of lazy that partsforming is still a thing. It's acceptable here because Overlord has always been two vehicles that form together but on other toys it's lazy. Plus, when you lose a piece either the robot mode or the alt mode is ruined.
I dont mind parts forming (as long as the parts ACTUALLY go together) like the new SixGun, the old original did it, so should the new one. Hell, Optimus was the original parts former with his hands, its why im fine with it.

Actually, they repainted Broadside into Tidal Wave for one of the box sets they did. Can't remember the name for it right off, but it did happen.

One of the shortcut with stickers are that you don't need to paint the detail in and it runs into the none detail, also the chest holes are for the primemasters

Yes, and you can do the same for all Leader Class figures except Blaster and Soundwave. A very good design choice by Hasbro.
The titan masters wouldn't get stuck in his boob holes if they were inserted facing backward. That way you can flip the tm legs outward for "guns" and use them as leverage when removing the masters
Where’s TJ these days? This guy always did the best reviews on the TH-cams.
My only real problems with Overlord is that his gun is painted rather than just cast in purple plastic. On mine that mad it a super tight fit in all 5mm ports. I wound up needing to strip a little of the paint on the bottom of the peg to get it to fight right.
Not one review that I have seen has showed off the hidden missile bank in his waste when you tilt him back in robot mode is it missing from the us version
I could be (and probably am) wrong but wasn't the last H-tank we got generations warpath. I mean ya there's hardhead, but he's weird and is supposed to be anyways

Wow blast from the past, crummy TH-cam started this video after watching a more recent video you posted, dang autoplay. I almost forgot about this figure. I have the Takara version that comes with two Headmasters. While i really like this figure it is a shame they left out the Powermaster aspect.
I never understood why overlord, the deception leader would have a base mode, why would the leader transform into something for his underlings to use

Also I noticed Star Saber has not made a return still in the IDW comics guessing the backlash of making Star Saber a religious zealot nutcase wasn't such a great choice.

You would have been more accurate in saying "ninja thunderzord" him together since that is how the thunder megazord from ninja storm formed

G1 Overlord had about the same height as Titans Return Overlord's box, so the robot mode size difference is only about 1.5 inches, as far as I know.
AMAZING REVIEW TJOMEGA!!! I love hearing your honesty about both the pros and cons of Transformers toys. At 2:02 if you want a fan mode for Overlord that's easy to transform, I created one that leaves the tank attached to the jet.
