Majorcraft makes some very nice rods. I own a number of them. They have a very expansive line to fish the surf with.

I haven’t tried their braid line. I just checked on Amazon. It is expensive line 😅
I think I gotta try it sometime soon.
What makes it different than other lines? Can you tell me one?

@@CastNreeL82 Oh, I meant they have a lot of different rod models to choose from. I like to use their Shore Jigging models a lot, and the 3 piece ones for travel.

How does first cast compare to the rest of major craft?
They have the new ceana line in the US.
I was looking for a 7-9 foot rod to try shore jigging (10-15g) from jetties in the san Francisco bay & coastal beaches.

I got the rod for 15~45g jigs from the surf. I think I need to use it few more times, but I could feel comfortable when I cast. Its middle part was strong and supported well. Some of other light long rod’s top parts are too flexible and bother the lines moving through but I got almost none from this rod. And the guides are good. feel smooth.
