How on earth do you pull off that pick scrape in the intro, is it the fourth bar? It's that scrape before you go back into the intro. I listen to the song and its almost simultaneous if not simultaneous with picking the 11th note.

What do the circles around the notes mean? (why are some notes/chords circled and some arent?) 2. What is the ? From what I can tell its a harmonic right on the fret between 3rd and 2nd, is that what it is?? 3. And third, at 2:44 there are a couple of chords which are for example: 2 | 2 Why is there a line on the 6th string instead of it being empty? I would be so grateful if anyone could answer these for me!

I recommend tuning to Drop F#.
Also, since I'm using 1st to 7th strings, 7-string guitar is preferable.
Are you using an amp or an interface? I find myself unsure how i switch between clean and distorted while playing through my interface
I create a guitar track for each tone and use the automation feature for switching. I use BIAS FX and Ableton Live.
