- Hi it's been awhile but i'm back to show you how you can go from dyed black / dark brown hair to ginger hair without having to bleach! I understand there is bleaching agents in developers but i'm talking about actual hair bleach powder in this case!
The products I used are:
HiColor Red HiLights Copper Permanent Creme Hair Color - 3 Tubes
Salon Care 30 Volume Creme Developer (double the ratio to the dye)
Clairol Nice'n Easy Permanent Hair Dye - 6R Light Auburn Hair Color - 8SC Medium Copper Blonde Hair Color

Before you went over the dark section; that color... It's such a perfect color for you like I'd assume that would be your natural color almost
it turned out great considering the fact that u already had dye in your hair!! very cute my hair is also dyed so idk if i could go from brown to ginger myself lol!! i'm binge watching all of ur vids right now bc ur personality is so me i can relate to a lot of the things u say haha, rlly happy that u uploaded again sorry if i'm all over the place with my words but just wanted to put out every thought i had right now :)

Great job! Consider using a color remover before dying again might help with the patchiness

This exact thing happened to my microloced hair. I had box dye and used hicolors copper. My roots took color but the rest of my hair didn't. I'm considering using color oops again to redye it but before then I might try your technic first. Thanks for sharing!
I normally use Color oops because it works great but I just wanted to see if it had the power to lift without it! Goodluck 💕

According to the internet at least month, but if I understand correctly, you did it immediately, and I also have some less dyed parts. What are the consequences?❤

This samething happened to me even though i bleached it because my hair was so dark. I used cajun and sunrise orange and the roots were super bright and i still had darker patches i then used hicolor copper and then used cajun spice and sunrise orange again i used cajun spice on my roots to balance it came out very similar to yours but i noticed more reddish undertones and still some darker patches but over all it looks good but i might do orange blaze next time.

Question so my hair is dyed how do I get that ginger / cooper
The sizzling copper has a mall tube that is supposed to intensify it, but it makes it more reddish than copper. Hopefully I can go over it soon with copper by adore or a box like you did? I mean I like this color but it isn't what I was going for..
I’ve been copper for about 4 years now and yes this color now is so popular. Ives used this high color for a while now but not sure what I can use to make it less dry I feel like it does dry out my hair and I also get the patches especially on the roots.
You can add a semi conditoner dye after or a hair mask
I’m going through this now. I want to color ginger, I have boxed dyed brown and be I want to go ginger on Monday, my stylist is saying we will give it a try to see if it turns out ginger I will update

hey! i am gonna colour my hair like you I already bought the products but was wondering, do you deep condition your hair right after you bleach it? or maybe use a protein treatment right after? I just think it may help the hair after the dye damage but i dont know if that would affect the colour retention? btw your videos are saving me through this journey! thanks babe keep going ❤
Yea I use the keratin 2 min reconstructor from aphogee afterwards!

@@violetaalemany9207 the red will come out with a few washes but I suggest doing it a second time but completely avoiding the roots this time
i’m glad i watched the whole video. i’ve been using hi color for a couple years now and it’s def fading on dyed hair but stays on virgin hair. the fading pisses me off smmm when that happens to me. what’s the closest shade to the copper hi colors (but a different brand) that i can apply once to all my hair when it fades ?
Use a semi dye to refresh your copper everytime you wash
Ugh seen this colour and now obsessing about getting this done! It looks sooo good, the only thing is my hair is relaxed..do you think if I wait at least 3 weeks I should be good?
if your hair is healthy and relaxed then 2 weeks should be okay but if your hair isn't that strong I wouldn't recommend dyeing it!
Are you mixing the 30 developer with the Color?
Have you had bleach in prior dye? Cuz I have never dye mine

Hey love I just dyed my hair with Hicolor copper Highlights & ended up getting orange hot roots any tips on how to get it to even out ? Should I use a regular copper on my roots instead of the highlights ?
i would say to use a semipermanent over your whole head to even it out like the adore cajun spice
The same thing happened to me but it was because I had black box hair dye but its been a year since I had dyed it so Idk if going over it again would lighten it more.

Yes & no. I feel like if you had dyed your hair a dark color w box dye, you should try to remove the dark hair color first. I first used Sizzling copper & then I went back & bought copper & it lightened it but not as much. You can see dark strands towards my ends
Hiii my birthday is next Tuesday and my natural hair color is jet black . And I want copper like urs . So do I do the developer first and let it lift my color then add the color with developer or without ?
The hicolor is a mixture of dye and developer you don’t do one before the other it will lift it and deposit at the same time just make sure to do your roots last ✨

You could also have used a dye remover before applying the hicolor for the first time, at least 2 times so the dark brown would have been removed almost entirely and you wouldn’t have to repeat the process 3 times. But I loved the end results!!!
So I just used the hair color no bleach 10/20/40❓❓

It works best with virgin hair so yours is perfect actually. Get a 20 developer to mix the HiColor with and you’ll be good. Do ends first then roots.

I found a better colour that lasts longer than the hicolor! It's called Igora I made a newer video for it!

I’m so jealous. I’m naturally ginger and dyed my hair black for Halloween and instantly regretted it.. since then I used so many colour removers and ginger dyes and now my hair is brown! Yet I can’t get it back ginger :’( how did it work so well for you but not me even though I’m ginger

I truly don't remember but I think it was only a few days but I did use a protein treatment beforehand! 💕

how many tubes of dye did you buy?
I say for my entire head and going over the darker spots I ended up using 5 total but once on my entire head I used 3 or maybe 4 🥴

Personally I would have used a colour remover 1st to get that dark colour out but that's just me
The colour is fading because it won't stick anymore because it's damaged from all the chemicals !!
