This also happened to me last month. The email showed up as I was getting ready. Almost didn't feel real at all but I handled it just like you. Went outside and just processed it, accepted it, and moved on while making plans for the next move. I'm hoping for the absolute best for you and wishing that you are able to find another role ASAP! I lost mine in Jan. Got laid off...in one of the rounds. And it's been reflective and initially it was emotional n anxious and I swung between being numb to being anxious. But a little bit later.....I am just relaxed. It's boring to be glum. Trust life. It will take care of itself. Sometimes one runs. Sometimes one walks slowly. And when you walk slowly, you notice MUCH more and have many more things to say thank you for. Que Sera Sera :)

Wow, I don't know why this vidoe showed up on my feed, but it does bring back some memories. I wasn't planning a wedding, but I was in a similar position in my early New York years. My "dream job" went out of business. It was both the best and worst job I'd ever had, and I can still say that over 33 years later, LOL...and i'm still in NYC! Hang in there and good luck!
Layoffs suck especially when we aren’t prepared for what we need to do next or have certain bills we would pay with our position! I’m sure you’ll find your next job soon.🤗

I have lost my job three half months ago. It was rough, but I have moved on. I decided to spend the time focusing on my health which was the main caused to why I lost the job.

I have been through it too. I got the email and got panic attacks. But soon after, I started sorting my papers and updating my CV. I sent 50 CVS a day to as many places I could. Finally , I got something after about three months. Gratefully, we could keep the house for those three months as our landlords were very understanding. Then we were able to pay them before I relocated to a new city. You will soon find another one. Just keep searching.
Sorry to hear you got laid off but just looking at the way you carry yourself, I think you'd be highly employable. Thanks for the terrific shots around the city. The Cafe looks amazing.

You can draw unemployment until you find your next job. I know it is a bummer losing a job. I have been there also. Stay focus and you will make it through this cycle of life.

I haven't had any fun lately, I like the essence how you live on. I need to be true to myself and find a job I am passionate about. I want to find a way to live as who I really am.

Perspective is important when you lose a job. The longer you live, the more of almost everything will happen to you, because that is life. You will love more people, you will lose more people to death, you will move more, work in more places, lose or leave more jobs, buy and sell more of your vehicles, find more friends, lose more friends, etc. When one is in their early 20's, a job loss is a very big deal. By the time you are in your 30's, a job loss is a major inconvenience. By the 40's, a job loss is just an opportunity for better pay and more satisfaction. By the 50's, a job loss can be very concerning due to ageism in the workplace, and reduced salary. By the 60's, many can just work part-time due to Social Security, so job loss is not too serious. So the earlier we understand that life brings jobs and takes them away because that's what life is, we can stop stressing and get on with finding another one.
Definitely know the feeling…I lost my job in March and I lowkey knew it was going to happen because little details that was going on at my former job…but it’s be a bit of a struggle

I wouldn't be eating out if I just lost my job. I would conserve as much as possible until I actually started working again. Eating out cost 3X's what it costs to make the same thing at home.

Everything happens for a reason. What you may see as a set back is actually a set up for something better. You'll see.
As long as you have a roof over your head,a warm bed to sleep in and you can eat a meal everyday,........you will be fine,👍. There are many people that live in Asia, Africa and the other side of the earth that sleep outside and have no idea what will they eat or what will their future be like!! The job is well paying job and she likes it lot so it’s understandable why she is upset. She is not hurting money wise for know but I think it’s more about being disappointed with yourself when you lose something.
👉Job comes and goes. Please embrace your life. Time don't wait for no one! Be happy! Even if you have a corporate job, you can be laid off at anytime. You walk away with nothing. Trust me, I wasted 16 years in corporate world. Searching job circle will continue until you reach 67 years for retirement. Try to collect unemployment. Go out for bubble tea or asuan supermarket for snacks❤
UNFORTUNATELY ....this will be happening to more & more "Social Influencers" These videos are not real jobs, with healthcare benefits, pensions, 401Ks. The economy is in a tailspin more so than other decades...it is also a global happening...not just happening to U.S. workers either. Good Luck on your future endevors.
