    No need ever to apologise for owning a Honda..
    I bought a '98 CR-V fifteen years ago, it's still my daily driver, has never let me down.
    Love the thing, so useful, practical and comfortable.

      These Hondas are pretty damn bullet proof. My Honda affords me the ability to work on my fun projects rather than working on it all the time. I’ve had it 8 years without a single issue.

      I agree 100% I have nearly 200k on my 2006 Ridgeline. Other than consumables I have replaced only 3 major things on it: alternator, timing belt/tensioner, and a/c fan. They are awesome! I’m 52 and I have owned 5 Honda’s and they have never let me down. I saw a great deal on a 5 speed s/c element and I’m still pissed I did not buy it.

    Maybe you should put the flathead in that Honda? Only way to make it cool! 😎

    Dude, you just added an Element to my "need to buy" list when you said you could transport bikes in it! I googled it and am sold now! Need to score one. Thanks for the tip!

      You won’t be disappointed! Had mine for 8 years without a single issue. They are great for camping in as well! Tons of cargo space.

      I bought a 2WD version for my daughter and now I want to drop a TDI in it. Or, maybe I’ll just go have a nap until the feeling goes away.

    I wanted to do a 52-54 flattie in my 61. Just because they are cool, and it would get the looks at shows lol.
    Please leave the live feeds up. Some of us can’t get to them before they are gone.

    Good seeing videos from you again! Clever use of the jack! Flathead in a Mustang. Hrmmm, I'm all for off-beat and obscure, bit I just don't know if the power to weight ratio is worth the effort. But I suppose if I'm going to vote against it, I should have a good alternate idea, and other than a Barra, I don't really have an idea. So with that...I say carry on! That go-kart does look fun!

    I have seen others that shorten the bed in two locations but they used a long bed truck. with a short bed do you not need to alter anything to get the truck body to fit the Crown Vic? I lik!e your results

    • @rivercity3908
      @rivercity3908  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Rodney! Even with a short bed ‘61-‘66 F100 you do have to cut the bed down. Yet it just so happens that these ‘61-‘63 F100 short bed Unibody (the bed is integrated into the cab, no separation from bed to cab) trucks fit almost exactly to the wheelbase of the Vic so no cutting required.

    Timmy McMaster? if that is who your talking about he is a awesome guy and a friend of mine. Corinthian white would have been the stock white for the 61-63. my wrong bed is Corinthian white.

    Great to see another Unibody. I've been working on my F250 Long bed Uni for a few years now, its going to be the Wimbledon White and Red two tone. I really need to make a video on the build. If you look it up on IG its #monsterhauler Yblock powered and four speed.

    this is not the most sketch way i've ever hauled an engine and trans... bought a derby car motor once and made it to the place to pick it up with only a tire, and no straps... had to go 40 miles to a walmart to buy them...

      my truck is currently rangoon red, but the box i bought (67f100 stepside) is mint green. so. it's going to end up being rangoon red as well. best red ford made ever, if you ask me.
