What a vibrant and festive celebration of Chinese New Year in Singapore's People's Park Complex! 🎉🏮 The colors, the energy, and the joyful atmosphere are truly captivating. Thank you for sharing this delightful video and allowing us to experience a taste of the festivities. Wishing you a prosperous and joy-filled Year of the Dragon! 😊🐉🧧
Thank you for your very nice comments. Sorry for this late reply as I was extremely busy lately. I am glad that I have filmed this place so that we can look back and recall how life was like during CNY 2024 at People's Park. Happy Chinese New Year my friend ❤️
People’s Park Complex is a historic food centre with a wide variety of options, making it popular among people of all ages. We also remember enjoying the juicy xiaolongbao there.☝️✨ Your video camera captured both the inside and the surroundings of People’s Park Complex, which is one of the symbols of Chinatown. It conveyed to the decorations and the atmosphere of Chinese New Year with a sense of presence.🏮😊 The beauty of the Dragon lanterns along the road in the final scene represented this year’s Chinese New Year! Sorry for this late reply. People's Park Complex, built in 1973 is at the heart of Chinatown. It's a historically important building and is being studied for conservation status. This place is packed during lunch and dinner time. It is very popular as it has a wide variety of food options. The dragon lanterns along the main road make this place and Chinatown an exciting and beautiful place to visit during Chinese New Year. I'm glad to have filmed it for remembrance.
Happy Chinese New Year, Eddie. The food centre has been renovated last year. It's bright and clean now. You might want to go there again to drink beer with friends.
Just been there 3 days ago . Now I'm already back in germany . Its soooo sad . Singapore is so different . I love the people , the food , the entertainment . Just a perfect little world . But I noticed it became more expensive since my last visit in 2019 . Anyways ... Gong Xi Fa Cai ! Have a happy new year
Thanks for your comment. You have just travelled from summer back to winter. Thanks for visiting my beautiful country. Hope that you have brought back sweet memories with you. Nearly everything has become more expensive here. The government just raised the goods and services tax by another 1%. (1% last January and another 1% this January). And most businesses adjust by raising their prices by a much wider margin. I hope prices will stabilise soon. Cheers!
I did cover the 2nd floor last year. This year, it was quiet and empty when I was there, so I didn't want to show it. Most of the shops there open in the day and close at night. Excitement and crowds will pick up at Chinatown after the Street Light-Up on 19th January.
Awesome video !..thanks for the tour around..!!!!...❤❤❤❤..
Thank you my friend.
Nice walk at the People's Park side!
Hope to see more night markets from you!
Thanks for sharing!
I try to visit the night markets whenever I can. Hope to see more of yours too.

Thank you for watching, my new friend from China.
U didn’t cover the upper levels of the food centre? Many shops selling clothes, sundries, etc. Like People’s Park too for the vibes :)
