I bought my wife's uncle's 09' BMW G650GS. Carlos, you have inspired me to name my bike. Her name is Matilda ! Started watching your videos and love them. You fellows was in my back yard here in NC I ride all them back dirt roads and parkway all the time. Have a good friend that lives in Ocala as well. I have road them forest roads in and around Ocala and lake land. I ride a klr for years now. Ride safe and have fun.

Carlos, this video is close to my heart. You guys ride through my hometown! I live about 5 miles from Lake Tahoma in Marion, NC. I'm fortunate to get to ride these roads daily if I want to. We would love to have you as a resident up here!
I just found your channel. It is super interesting and particularly so because I am having a house built in brevard, nc. Also, I spend winters in St. Augustine, FL. I hope to run into you sometime! I really enjoyed your video where you rode theTAT in Tellico Plains. You plowed through Witt Creek without any problems. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone under water there! Take care and stay healthy.
Oh ya NC some of the best riding on the east coast the 226a and 226 are my favorite I also love the Devils whip and route 81 is good to and grandfather Mt is great to we will be down there in June for the gathering of the airhead clan its a BMW meet for a hole weekend at high country motorcycle campground NC
With today's campgrounds constantly increasing their rates, I have found paying about $20 more at a nearby Motel will beat a campground, while you get a better sleep and don't have to deal with packing and unpacking your tent, specially if it starts to rain. I know, it will be way more expensive, but doing 400 to 500 miles per day, I need the sleep to ride more alert!!
Nice series of videos. Do you have the maps of the ride I’m planning to go to NC to do the tail this summer but I’m not sure what else to do will greatly help my planning. Thank Carlos for the videos
You really can't do much other than lock your helmet. I carry a light weight duffle bag to put my riding gear inside and strap it to the bike. At least it is not that visible. So far I haven't had any issues. It also depends where you are.

You should ride in Thailand, it has wonderful scenery, you just have to wary of everything else on the roads
