George Martin was not sure if he could perfect it in normal speed, that he recorded the tune in x0.5 speed and sped it up, making that magical atmosphere

I'm gobsmacked by this rendition. I haven't seen a vid where someone hasn't put 'best version on youtube', but this is a million miles above any cover of the song I've heard. I love that change of rhythm at 2:01 and the juxtaposition of vocals and single chord strikes.
