For those of us that are SaaS affiliate marketers, isn't a free newsletter better? Since we are promoting mostly the tools of other businesses.
Anyways, thank you for giving me a new perspective on things!

Great example.
I think what's the biggest miss with a lot of newsletter is that there's no "what do I get?" factor.
It's "join my newsletter and be on my list forever!"
And customers are asking - "For what? What do I get?"
If your free newsletter can make a promise to deliver great SaaS tools - awesome. Keep going.
