Said it before, I'll say it again, you guys are the best moto traveller vloggers out there. Chads ability to get both in and out of trouble, topped off with Rose's wit and narration, is the stuff of legends.
Oh my God! That kid peeling the stickers off your fender was hilarious. And that hike to rescue the drone was no joke. Those loose scree slopes are difficult and dangerous to climb. I can't imagine doing it in moto boots. Once again, the places you ride, your cinematography and storytelling are head and shoulders above any other motovlog on TH-cam. Just outstanding. Thank you both for taking us along with you.
Once again.. having just prepared Sunday dinner, and wine 🍷 open..up pops a new video from my favourite motorcycle travel couple Simply superb scenery.. Great to see REAL markets.. unlike the clinical shops in many western countries.. Jeeezz.. those boulders on the closed road were certainly not allowing anything other than bikes or a wee donkey through 😊 Rosie has perfected getting on the AT.. Stay safe.. thanks for taking us along.
Marvelous! Every time you guys post it makes us smile. Forgot to tell you, but my wife and I visited Puerto Natales a few years ago on our way from Torres del Paine down to Cabo de Hornos. We thought maybe you had this bar there, and wanted to drop by for a brew, but seems we missed you. Anyways, greetings from Scandinavia.
Amazing scenery The lakes colour was breathtaking The tunnel road was making me relive the tunnels of Italy. Sketchy!!! That damn drone That was one hell of hike with only the horse flies for company Another great Sunday!
EPIC…is still an understatement! Also, I think you found the origination of the “dead end road”! Dang! Coming out of that tunnel too fast, would make for a really bad day! I can only imagine that riding anything “regular” must feel completely pedestrian to you. It’s absolutely stunning how much you’re getting to see, visit, and experience.
Thanks! It’s great to get out and see the world, and I love sharing it with everyone! Yeah, there are a lot of "dead end roads" in this part of the world. You can't afford to let your mind wander too much!
Blowing road closures & washouts to achieve the outrageous objective. Followed by the seldom visited & rougher sections of the canyon beyond that confounded bridge. By now I expect nothing less from you two, very well played ! And nice work on the drone rescue, dude.
😀 ha ha... Thanks! The "road work" at the washout was deceiving. We told the couple on the GS they could make the lake if they ducked the red tape, but we didn't tell them to be careful with the backfill. They hit at speed and ended up going over the bars... 😬
Oops, you did it again! You made another amazing video. Now, I want to go to Peru! Thank you for sharing your extraordinary journey with us. Ps. I will send you some Tiger Coward stickers to replace the ones that little vandal ruined. (One the Canada Post strike is over.)
Haha. I had the same thing happen in Puno. I went to leave on Market day, and the motorcycle was blocked in by the vendors, and the street closed. I about got creamed by a Hilux in a tunnel there. I honked and all, but some are so long, and the trucks going so fast don't care.
Crazy, isn't it? Wth all the transitions you are riding blind a lot of the time and it's our responsibility to avoid getting hit. The trucks and busses certainly don't yield the right of way!!
That was one hell of an uphill struggle to end up at the end of the road. Oh well. Life is an uphill* struggle. Or perhaps, life is a motorcycle adventure. I wonder why them biting flies chose to reside in the mountains with no other purpose but to poison the lives of random visitors. I do know for sure, however, that I fucking HATE them biting flies 😡😡 Anyway, keep the rubber well in the dirt and thank you for your service 😉😉 * (Downhill is also struggle 😁😁)
I love your videos! It seems almost ungrateful but would it be possible to include elevation, temperature, and gear used on these incredible roads. Very inspiring.
Attaching a small cinema camera like the LUMIX BGH1 to a drone (Netflix approved camera) would capture what was already spectacular colour of the lake but with possibly extra gradations of blue to green.

What year were you there?? The restaurant was open from 2010-2020, until Covid shut us down. Rose and I were there in 2019-2021...
33 back again. Saludos
Cheers!!

@@TwoWheelsThreeSheets yikes! OTB off the GS does not sound fun. Hopefully a ride away lesson learned without too hard a knock.
Luckily, it was a soft landing.... but they had a hard time extracting the bike from the gunk.
Seems you and Itchy Boots are riding the same terrain on opposite sides of the world. Love you all.
Thanks!

FIRST!! 😆 Someone had to get the drone, and seeing as how I'm the one that crashed it, it only seemed appropriate...

Thank you! We do our best to highlight the altitudes at passes, etc... the temperatures, though.... honestly, I have no idea most of the time. 😅

I bet! Unfortunately, we're pretty limited with what we can carry living off the motorcycle..
