I echo all the positive comments regarding the video photography, music, narration and the stunning Andes. Plus I would add. Having seen plenty of videos from travellers in India, just to sight one example. Where almost every shot contains rubbish, between houses, at the side of the road and anywhere where people live / work... Peru is immaculately clean... especially when you think that many of the roads are there to serve the mineral extraction industries. Absolutely loving this series.
Thanks so much for the kind words! In my experience, overlanders either love or hate Peru. Those who love it, like myself, stuck to the mountains. Those who hate it, traveled almost exclusively along the coast (i.e. The Pan-American Highway). The coastal route is, in many places, littered with rotting trash and blowing across the highway.
@@TwoWheelsThreeSheets that sounds like a sad reflection of how people near the coast regard their environment... or shows just how much the ancient indigenous people respect theirs. I'll take the mountains every time.
@@neilmackinnon3371 I think a lot of it has to do with population density and the lack of proper sanitary infrastructure. There is much more accountability in smaller communities (generally speaking)...
Little wonder those roads and the area is Chads favourite Simply superb scenery.. Those ancient ruins..wow..to move some of those large rocks and boulders must have been back breaking work Stay safe and thanks for sharing Aye.. Rosie does a good image of Indiana Jones in her hat..
Your videos are real, that's why we like them, reminds us of our ride through the Andes. Hope you can visit us in Buenos Aires or Pinamar, Argentina. Ed and Elisa
Full marks for such an adventurous route and dogged perseverance to reach the summit of the pass above one of the highest tunnels in the world. What a Power Couple.
Seeing that you're posting this... I'll assume you made it out alive! 🙂 The scenery is breathtaking, but I also enjoyed the visit to the archeological site very much.
Simply the best! The roads you find are incredible, the stuff dreams are made of. No thanks on those underground tunnels, though. I've see Raiders of the Lost Ark!
Wow what an epic ride my friends, I want more, the mountains, what incredible scenery, hey maybe throw in a few of your campsites from time to time, one of the best parts of a motorcycle journey at the end of a day and a good fire, nothing can beat that, well maybe a little hooch along the way seals the deal as well, stay safe out there, hang in there. Rob in Ala.
I had the pleasure of working in Peru for a couple of years doing safaris! An absolute pleasure to enjoy your journey and experience the vastness of this amazing country. Thank you guys, and safe travels.
I rode my Norden to Pastururi then Atamina hwy in February...fantastic rds but hit 4 hrs of snow and wicked thunderstorm. Great to see another couple on the rarely travelled backroads of Peru. Well done
Wonderfully done to you both! Have thoroughly enjoyed all your videos from season 4, it's great to see your progression from when I first started watching some years ago. And dude - nice cliff hanger with ending as you're heading up that sketchy AF trail on the way to the summit. Be tricky on my WR250 loaded, can't imagine it on the AT loaded and a passenger. Look forward to the next release. And can't wait until I get to experience the Andes in person. Knobby side down hombre.
Oh, wow... thanks so much for the kind words as well as your support throughout the years. We really appreciate it! The Andes are incredible, and this region of Peru specifically is my favorite! When are you heading down??
@@TwoWheelsThreeSheets If I can make the logistics work, I'm hoping to do a fly-and-ride in the May '25 time frame. That'll be a taste, eventual plan is to ride from my home in OR to Ushuaia and then wing it from there. Still dreaming about that...
Not 100%... The resolution leaves a lot to be desired. The processing & downloading files create a lot of additional work, and the final color requires a lot of manipulation. 😑
Seriously, I can no longer watch you before going to work.😂 It leads to an immediate “must call off and take the bike out” desire. Everything else is almost meaningless. Unfortunately, we’re heading into the MN winter. So, please (2x), keep uploading your amazing mini documentaries. I’ll live vicariously through you til Spring.
Ha ha... sorry about that! But sometimes, tough decisions must be made!! 😅 It's a tough time to be a motorcyclist up north! 😔 We'll do our best to help you make it through winter!! 💪
Sometimes I sense all that moto gear long haul adventure motor riders don has a correlate to them being sensing they are a heroic figure being in a monastic order of the Middle Ages or a even a gladiator in a contest as man/women and canine against nature, where nature is the sun that would be scorching their bodies if not for the exoskeleton to save their skins for another day.
@@TwoWheelsThreeSheets Thank you so much for being so receptive to feedback. Sorry that I was so blunt, but I have PTSD and crash sounds are not what I want to hear at the start of an adventure video, and maybe others feel that way too. I look forward to watching your next vlog and will go back and watch all of this one (with the sound turned down at the beginning 😀).

Best Moto travel channel on the web, bar-none. SAmerica is definitely on my bucket list. I'm going to try Mexico and Central America first.
100% Agree!
Thanks so much!! Mexico and CA are incredible as well. Mex has the best food in the world IMO!!
Take me with you !
Wild, I don't think I'd be going up a trail like that two up fully loaded!
Spoiler alert... We don't make it! 😅

Aye.. Rosie does a good image of Indiana Jones in her hat..
Thanks so much! I'm going to start calling her Indiana Rose... 😆
I can't begin to imagine how they erected those giant structures!
Perú me está sorprendiendo!!! Gracias!!
¡Perú tiene mucho que ofrecer! 😉
Another superb video, location, videography, narration, commentary, editing, sound recording, music, etc. Thank you.
Thank you for the kind words!
What a scenery, amazing places (those subterranean galleries!) and lots of adventure. Really love your videos, thanks for sharing! 🙂
Thanks for watching!

Pretty amazing, huh??
what a wonderful trip, pure pleasure, and for me with you
Some of the best riding South America has to offer!!
Estive no Tunel Punta Olímpica em 2020, sensacional.
I was at Tunel Punta Olímpica in 2020, amazing.
From another traveler who loves Peru.
Pretty amazing place, isn't it??

Thanks so much! We spent a week in Buenos Aires about 18 months ago. Lovely city!! 💚
Holy crap, that last part is incredible!
It's an amazingly sketchy road!
Awesome again! Love these videos, the place is obviously stunning and the way you guys give it life is amazing!!
We really appreciate the kind words! The Andes are truly spectacular.
Its obvious you both love the adventure, and that is such a bonus for us to ride along. 👌 Another awesome video...thankyou 😎✌
Thank you! We're in our happy place! 😎

A beautiful journey , snow covered mountains make the video more attractive,
Weldon sweet couple 👏🌹🏵️👌🤗

Thank you! Most of what you see are actually glaciers. This time of year, there isn't much snow...
Seeing that you're posting this... I'll assume you made it out alive! 🙂
The scenery is breathtaking, but I also enjoyed the visit to the archeological site very much.
Spoiler alert - we survived! 😆
Thanks for joining us for the ride!
Crazy!
Occasionally...
Epic scenery
Agreed!
I really enjoy your videos, I especially like the drone footage you’ve shown us all some beautiful places of this planet. Well done Chad & Rose.
Thank you very much! Just wait for the next episode!! 😳
@ well if it’s better than the last one it must be pretty spectacular …. I can’t wait to see it now 👍🏻🙂
@Clivewheeler you won't be disappointed! 💪
What a ride!!! Man that was cool
Thank you! 🍻
This was an awesome episode.

Liking the addition of the 360 cam to yiur arsenal
Thanks... the picture quality is a bit lacking, so I use the footage sparingly. But it does help break up the monotony of the helmet-mounted POV.
Just keeps eating better - stunning - thank you.
THank you! 😊

both of you are great riders guys ...one of Ur best videos we have seen , keep riding , keep inspiring us..from Greece ..
Thanks so much for riding along with us!! 🍻

The best riding in all of South America, in my opinion!
@TwoWheelsThreeSheets agreed. I keep my Norden in Lima and fly back every winter to ride in Peru. It's a big world but I keep going back there

Great clip, amazing to see the underground civilization.Keep it going .
Thank you! 💪
Jeez. Nearly 5km high!!
Yessir! Air gets a bit thin!
The underground ruins looked incredible>
Very frightening in complete darkess, I would imagine
I can't imagine crawling around down there high on ayahuasca as the sounds of the ceremonies in the temples echoed around me! 😵
This sooooo reminds me of when you fried your clutch on the death road
Ha ha... no clutches were burnt in the production of this video!!
You guys definitely know where “off the beaten track “ is & not knowing where it leads only seems to encourage you to keep going….Well played!
We like to go where the road less traveled takes us.

Winner winner chicken diner
Ain't no thang but a chicken wing!!
I usually park my bike in the dining room.
Someone's coming over for dinner!! 😀
You mentioned her looking like Indiana Jones in that hat, I say more like Lara Croft in Tomb Raider.
Never saw it, but yeah... that's probably a bit more apropos.

Parking in the restaraunt
Table for one!
Another burnt clutch ? 😅
Not yet... 😆
It’s not every day you follow a van with livestock tethered to the roof.
Ha ha... I can't imagine how they got those things up there. They must have been sedated!
smells like burnt clutch
Ha ha... not this time! 😅

Dressing up like a Power Ranger certainly helps foster that feeling of invincibility! 😀
@ It’s kinda counter fashion culture to van lifers with a twist, as in being out there literally and metaphorically too.
Less riding endless road shots more b-role please 😊
You must not ride. Those "endless road shots" are the stuff dreams are made of.
I really like you motovlogs, but sorry, your intro with the crash sound is just horrible ...
OK... challenge accepted! Watch our next video and let me know what you think of the intro. 👍

I'm always open to constructive criticism. In my opinion, your assessment is absolutely correct. The crash is a bit too jarring...
