There is a very good reason why the sounds are so good - they hired the same sound designer from Subnautica for this game
FOR REAL??? No freaking wonder the sound is so good. Dang I LOVE Subnautica. Im working my way through the frozen one now :) I felt so bad when I accidentally kidnapped a baby penguin :(

Flying can be quite challenging in DoD! As a DoD lover and player for some times, some of my tips are:
*Really important!* To slow yourself down, HOLD space and when you're near ground, press f. If you can't slow you down, press f to have little or no dmg!
You need to run to fly! Run for a little, press shift, spam f (not too much tho, or you'll fall) then Shift + S
Always keep shift and s pressed when you've started flying! If you let go of space, you will lose momentum and fall. I saw how you fell, ya pressed S/ Shift + S too late, but you never die of fall dmg which is good xd
Also don't go too high suddenly as shadow scale, you will fall no matter what you do (no holding s when you first fly!)
It's... kinda hard to explain, the flight kinda works like a flight simulator, so S to go up and W to go down (This can be changed, ofc) Make sure when your dragon starts hovering, Press Shift + S, but if that doesn't work, Shift + W till it lowers down and QUICKLY press shift + s to stop yourself from falling!
Sorry if I can't explain very well.. I do have a link to a tutorial video someone made, if you want!
Also don't recommend practicing flight where trees are. THEY *HURT* a LOT
Thank you for the tips!! I like the idea of flying in Dod. It feels realistic but there is a real learning curve to it. I have also changed the W to go down and S to go up. My brain just errored 404ed when I had to remember that while trying to take off.
The biggest issue I have when flying is turning too much, and I keep going in circles in the sky despite only wanting to turn a tiny bit. Still trying to figure that out
Oh Same!!!! The flying is also not super responsive. Like, i would turn and it takes so long to turn that i think the command did not register... then i turn again and then everything just happen at once and i crash.
Cant wait to get this game :)

@@taztaz-oz6jmi’m in a deathmatch fully grown but it doesn’t work for me like it let’s me do the shift , jump , f and glide to get into air but doesn’t let me ascend up into air when i’m clicking w to go up on ( inverted pitch ) i even tried it on default and nothing been trying to hours
