Only one game, don't wanna hype him too much, but what strikes me is how natural and comfortable he looks. He's not forcing things and you can tell he has good hockey IQ. That one-timer shot will be his bread and butter. Oh and nice vid, subbed 👌
@Jessie I hope he has the mentality and spine to handle it well. I really hope he was properly coached in that area, cause I would hate to see him crash under the pressure.
Unreal, he had 4 guys chasing him on the Oulette goal! Insane move and quickness. I saw him play at UBC 2 years ago in the exhibition, he wasn't like this at all. A major leap in his development took place after the WJC. He's grown an inch to 5ft8; Marty St.Louis height. A simple analogy....
@@by2004 for whatever reason, if you Google his height, it's listed at 173cm. He's been 5ft7 since good draft, Romanov was 5ft10 in his draft year, who knows, maybe that changes next year after training camp. He could be 5ft5, but you can't hit what you can't catch

@@doaftheloaf yes we are very happy to have zegras. A lot of teams passed on him as well and I believe we were lucky he fell to us at 9. I think when we look back on that draft years later, it has potential to be a loaded first round similar to 2003. Assuming players reach their potential.

I know, this is so awesome.
Caufield was the reason jack hughes looked so impressive.
100% agree
Yeah good point
the whole team was stacked. Jack still would have gone first overall without Caufield's help
