Well actually it would be very simple to calculate the speed since the gear ratio, rpm and the gear the car is in are known all the time

I have a similar Audi and the gears are very long so you have to use the gear changer a lot to get the maximum power
@@rodolfini345 Yes, but that is not excuse to steer like that. And also not having both hands on the steering wheel. If anything unexpected happens, he cannot react in time driving like that. He is not on the track but still, very bad technique.

Even in Rally (I had a teacher who was profi driver) you keep the hands on the steering wheel and only for a short time you go to the gearbox and return quickly. Watch at 01:21... Had a big power ( 711hp) 94 S2 myself ( not Avant ) a fair few years ago now and it's honestly one of only 3 cars that I've owned that I wish I never sold, they just did ( and no doubt still do ) do everything so well and effortlessly, I remember one morning I dropped my children off at school, then I picked up my future mother in law and took her shopping ( 2 hour round trip itself ) then after taking her and her shopping home I got back in the car to go home, i put it in high boost and subsequently sh!t myself on the way home, numerous times ! It was great to reminisce of good old times, that sound really does not get old in fact i think it's got better with time............ohhhh boy Autotrader time !
