Coming from a licensed Manicurist , certified medical Manicurist... You have healthy nails. I can clearly see it isn't fungus, no lifted nails. Its just our Melanin. The same can be said if we have darker gums. Just keep doing what your doing because you have perfectly healthy nails!
When you use a color polish like you did, having a white base layer will help your bright color more vibrant AND you'll use less color polish to "cover" your dark nails. ❤

Thank you very much! It does make me insecure because I could have sworn they were lighter. Thank you very much

@@TheMostComfortableHeels over time, yes... they will get darker with age. I've noticed mine have. If you wear gel polish... it can make your nails brittle and can " stain" your nail plate. ❤

Cheaply produced or overly pigmented nail polishes can darken the natural nail. The best thing to use is glycolic lotion or glycolic acid to brighten the nail and also lots of base coat when applying nail polish. Learnt this the hard way...x

I started using gel nail polish and an led lamp for my toe nails and omgggg now my nails don’t get stained !! It also lasts longer, is faster to do bc they dry super quick and they look glossier and nicer !! I recommend it so much

Does that mean you have to use a drill to get the polish off or do you have another method?

GIRL YESS! I can't take off all the callous or my feet will be too soft to handle it but I also need my feet to look good! Such a good video, thank you!

Baking soda is such a good idea. I’m going to start doing more maintenance at home because it’s getting expensive to go twice a week at the salon and besides I’m too ticklish anyway lol

Hi Vanessa, I like all your videos starring your lovely feet! And I particularly enjoyed this at home self pedicure video showing how you take care of your feet. They're really beautiful, especially those fabulous soles whose natural silky and creamy texture is truly hypnotizing to watch up close as you skilfully and effectively take care of them. I particularly enjoyed the dead skin removal with the foot file. Could you please make more exfoliation / filing videos like this one, possibly showing the entire process on both your gorgeous soles?
