I never saw a grain elevator that large. This is a nice video, and I will look into this area more so I can see what all the other buildings were doing. I see all the trucks and was wondering was that a processing plant?
Nice video! I worked at Far-Mar-Co in the 1970's when they owned the elevator and the buildings to the north side and had many opportunities to be in the elevator to pull grain samples and help with annual grain inventories. It's quite impressive from the inside as well. The view from the head house is magnificent!
Wow! So impressive! We used to built really cool stuff, very functional projects, designed to last 100 years. Now, most young folks do not know how to even read a tape measurer--it's sad.
