MSR is better to take out drone jammers than the HTI. It only disables it without drawing attention to any enemies, rather than blowing it up completely like the HTI does.
I've noticed the EMP Drone doesn't always work on convoys. So I started using Rebel Spotting and have my Ghosts take out the drivers of all 3 vehicles, causing the convoy to stop.
Convoys: Deploy drone, and use rebel spotting and sync shot the driver (at least in the transport vehicle). Instantly stops the convoy. Can either wait for them to disperse and move in, or take them rest of them on without losing the convoy.
VERY good tips, and most of them I didn’t know about. Especially using the drone to call for rebels is a complete game changer!! Now I’ll actually start using them. Thanks.

Easier way for convoy’s. Use recon rebel skill on the truck. Tag the two enemies in the truck and the whole convoy stops at a halt! Old news, I know just wanna put if out there
The only way I know wherein you tag a convoy without much confrontation is using the EMP on the main vehicle and then stay at safe distance and pick off each target with a sniper. FOR convoys: What I do (most of the time) is that I use the explosive drone + rebel spotting before the convoy even come in close distance from me. Take out the drivers of all the vehicles (using sync shot, yeah AI teammates :P) then detonate the explosive drone on the EMP. I actually impose rules for myself for when playing. 1. Only use AI teammates for convoy tags 2. Solo every intel gathering/missions 3. Stealth and no direct confrontation (esp. with Unidad), some missions are exception wherein stealth is not possible 4. No Drone recon/Rebel spotting 5. Soften' them up - take out targets from afar, then clean up leftovers after. If I am going solo (no AI sh*t), then I go for the EMP. For supply choppers, I take out the guy with the headset first, then clear the area before taking the chopper.
Good video but some of your tips are a bit off. Your #3 tip suggests the best way to take out convoys is with EMP drone and then rushing with grenades but if you try that on a harder difficulty (I'm only on Tier 34) your going to get your ass kicked. Instead, find out which direction the trucks are going and set am ambush for them with an HTI sniper to take out the escorts and use an AR or SMG to kill the driver of the transport you're trying to stop. If I'm being extra cautious, I summon the rebels to my side incase I miss with my HTI since it usually takes two shots per escort. Your #8 tip suggests the best way to stop someone from running is by shooting in front of them but In nearly every instance I can think of off the top of my head, the best way to capture someone is by starting a panic and let the target run away from all of his heavily armed buddies and follow him with a helicopter or armed vehicle. Another good method at capturing armed targets is using flash grenades. Shooting infront of them is very risky for a lot of reasons. Your #9 tip says the HTI destroys everything but that is VERY misleading. The MTI is a very good sniper that I always have equipped but although it will always one shot a helicopter, it wont destroy all land vehicles 100% of the time. What I mean is that sometimes I have to shoot a car three or more times with my HTI to destroy it and the Humvees that sometimes guard convoys usually take two shots to destroy which is why I try to have a grenade launcher with me at all times for when I'm dealing with reinforcements.

Great video! Some I figured out a while ago, the radio, loadout, and the EMV. Here's my problem, I got 100% on the Cartel, and my Rebel Updates are completed, How do I continue to the next ending. I have my gas, coms, etc. up to the thousands, I want to play the game from the beginning but I don't know what to do to finish it. Do I have to have all of the "Kingslayer files" ? And all of the "Weapon assessors, skill points"? That is what I'm doing now, going back and collecting all of those. I have looked all over, can't find a post on it. No rude reply's please, I'm not a kid, I'm a senior citizen.
If u just want to watch the other ending, just watch it on TH-cam. There's two ending, one where sueno lives n one where sueno dies. I think you gotta complete everything including all the side quests. Better try ghost mode instead for a totally different experience.

Dude. HTI can not destroy SAMs, you have to use explosives on SAMs.
I tried using the emp to stop the middle truck but it just kept going
The range of the EMP is VERY VERY small so make sure you have the drone basically right on top of the truck for it to work
