I passed there this morning and it looked and eyesore. I was wondering how it looked so close to the road .....unusually close . This is a welcome news bredda.
IF this actually happens it it GREAT news...The acreage does NOT look huge, however, maybe down the road (3 to 4 years) a small development can be placed there, whether it is commercial or residential; once careful thought and proper planning takes place!.
I think there's a possibility of the bridge being widened in the future to compensate for a high traffic entering the round-about.... On some videos it seems a clutter happens there.
I think this is a shortsighted move. How about making the dump become a gas company from all the waste?? To take all of the parish's garbage to Kingston is a waste of gas and great inconvenience to drivers n cost in fuel. Garbage to natural gas to fuel for cooking/fuel for vehicles. Excess can be sold to commercial industry fuel/energy. Utiliz solar panels for the Urban center cheaper energy cost to the govt and vendors.
Nice informational video Klarity!!

It's great because what is the use of renewal of the roundabout and the urban center, when the smell of garbage is lingering.
Jamaica need a system like here in the USA where garbage is used in a furnace to create electricity
