If you have mild leaky valves (with symptoms such as arrythmia, shortness of breath..etc), and you just 'wait and see' - and monitor that the leaking does not get worse - then great! But from what some patients are saying here, just 'waiting and seeing' seem to actually allow their condition to worsen. What r your symptoms do you feel any skipped beats
Hi Dr. Gupta! I have a question for you- I am a 25 year old female with no family history of sudden death or heart problems. I've been experiencing palpitations for about 5 years now, and I usually have at least a handful a day. I went through an extremely stressful situation in the past 3 months, and they have gotten SO much more frequent. I feel at least 100 a day, possibly more. I don't get lightheaded with them. I went to the cardiologist and had normal blood work, ekg, and chest x-ray. A few months prior, I had a 30-day event monitor that came back completely normal, except for pvcs, which the doctor was not concerned about. Should I be really worried? The doctors don't seem concerned, but I am anxious and I know that's not helping! :(
Same here I'm crazy counting my heart beat. Is this anxiety?
Get your anxiety stress under control
How to get bck to norml Is there ny remedy for Reurtation Doc,pls help

Thank you very much 🫀

do you have any advice for auscultation of mitral valve how to master it
Hi doc, I had a 2D echo result and it said that mine has thickened aortic annulus and thickened mitral valve leaflets.. mild mitral regurgitation.. i dont know if i have to do something or eat something to prevent some further danger..
So what are your symptoms? Are you having pvcs
Hi,doc,What if thickened mitral leaflet without restriction motion with mild regurgitation, and Normal overall valvular function with physiologic function.
I have the same findings, mine is -Reversed mitral E/A ratio indicative of Grade 1 diastolic dysfunction.
-Mitral regurgitation, mild. -Pulmonary regurgitation, mild and -Thickened mitral valve leaflets without restriction of motion. Everything else is normal. What medications are you taking?
Im taking nevibolol only, how about you?
@@fayedevera5488 yes nevibolol 5mg, but my resting heart rate would go down to 50-55 so my doctor advised to to take just half tablet. I'm also taking trimetazidine as anti-angina and statins for my cholesterol. How are you feeling now?

Thanks for everything.
My DR gets mad when I ask questions.
I have slightly thickened mitral valve leaflets with trivial regurgitation .Is that normal?
Hello I have the same thing. My Dr never even brought it up even tho it was on my echo results because she said the overall function of my heart is good. I have hear palpitations with it too. How is it going for you? Did you find out more about the thickened mistrial valves?
GREAT DOCTOR, THANKS.
i m preg third trimester n now i diagnosed mild mitral regurgitation with ventricular dysfunction grade 1 can i have normal delivery or c section
Sad Mauj You should ask your obstetrician (obsgyn specialist) about that actually. It needs a multidiciplinary treatment from obstetrician, cardiologyst, anesthesiologist, and pediatrician
I am suffering from heart anxiety My first echo was normal. At 2020 but i this year i go for a echo my cardiologist said i have mild primary mr and he says that its normal and he prescribed me inderal 10mg twice a day and asked me to repeat echo after 3 years. And he also said there's no need to worry about it and if anything happens to me with this valve problem i am the responsible. But still im scared please i also had an stress test which is normal my lipid profile was also normal. Help me to get through this. Is mild primary mr serious does it go away on its own im not an alcoholic or smoker im also physically active. And not overweight
How r u now
Sir my echco report says trivial mitral, trivial tricuspid, trivial pulmonary regurgitation. It is normal or abnormal sir. Plscreply sir. Am very panic .
