This documentary shares the story of world-famous boxer, Muhammad Ali.
Starting his career as Cassius Marcelus Clay Jr., a confident young boxer from the Deep South of America, Ali defeated champions in a style that had never been seen before. However, life out of the ring brought Ali his share of sorrow with a number of failed marriages, the loss of his title, controversially converting to Islam, and, more recently, succumbing to Parkinson's disease.
This documentary includes footage from some of Ali's greatest fights as well as archive material of his private life.
Black/Current is a space to provide both educational and entertaining content primarily by or about Black people. That’s Black Brits, Black Americans, Black Africans, Black Canadians, Black Australians and so forth.
