Thanks and yeah the pan is stamped clay before use however most people on the forums said it’s not necessary as most the heat rises and since I plan on using it mobile it just adds weight
Nice job and thanks for sharing! I was just doing this type of work today on an old rivet forge and blower. Mine is rusted to hell and back and in really bad shape. 2 quick suggestions for you -- I would recommend not speeding up your time-lapse quite as much as you did. It's a bit too fast. The other suggestion is to try to get your audio better. Maybe try a lapel mic or even wait to add your speaking audio afterwards. Really nice job!!
I record and edit everything from my phone thanks for the feedback if I didn’t speed everything up it would have been a multiple hour video I understand your point but there’s two sides there’s the little snips at a slower pace or show most the process at increased speed unfortunately my phone microphone is going out so sound quality is even worse than normal and I didn’t realize it until editing this video
@@MoodysGarage92 Just to clarify, I really liked your video. I hope my feedback didn't suggest otherwise. I'm just getting started making videos and I can appreciate the difficulty involved.
Well done! I'd recommend lining up the pan with clay to protect the casting from failing.

@@MoodysGarage92 I was just reading up on this and it sounds like clay lining is needed if using coke, but maybe not necessary with coal.
I have the same forge my blower still works perfectly
That’s good sometimes you find them and they were well taken care of and maintained, this one sat in someone’s barn unused for years unfortunately
Cool project 👍
Thanks

I didn’t take it bad I was just trying to explain why my content is the way it is currently
Need a fly wheel puller for the fan, that would have been easier.
I like the hand crank
