I give NRS their props, Ferra Torr is an excellent character design. Hope they revisit this character dynamic later (and not redo it completely just because “new game”).

Sure, they has tons of damage, but they also have to carry both the downsides of a grapple (difficulty getting in close up) and a puppeteer (Needing Ferra to be able to perform most specials and extend combos). So in other words, Ruthless is half grappler, half puppeteer, all polarizing

I don't know if u know this but he has commentated on some major tournaments back in the day, u know before Co.vid. Pretty sure he's commentated on a in person MK11 tourney. And it was an official tourney as well Ed Boon made an appearance to announce a New Mk11 limited time Scorpion figurine looked bad ass as well. Forgot the tourney name so sorry, but it is the most hype Mk11 tourney ever and one of the most hype tournaments in general. It really is that good.
Also pretty sure that isn't the only big tournament he's hosted for u just gotta look around, my boy destroyer I'd say is officially recognized as an actual/ official commentator.

Or doing a windmill punch into a flame fist into another windmill punch. And lui isn’t really plus in this variation as he can’t cancel unless you do double windmill punch which I highly doubt you know.

I love how nrs absolutely demolished any trace of armored launchers in that one patch, but then cyrax pulled up and they turned into Stevie wonder

After that the Windmill Punches Liu Kang can cancel into Dragons Roar (safe), Dragons Wrath (safe), low fire ball (unsafe), High fireball (unsafe) and Dragon kick (unsafe). Block low and wait, if the Liu Kang player cancels into the safe specials, they are minus enough where its now your turn and if not then you simply punish the unsafe ones. Practice the match and you'll win.

NRS deliberately tried to ruin Cyrax by nerfing it but still Chorizo and Esloko made Cyrax look legit.
He was too insane with so many hard to blockables and brutal damage. He is a balanced reliable character right now.

Nice vid man. Was saying the other day for mk 12 I hope they put Chucky and Michael in it. Chucky can have 2 forms or variations. His human form and doll form that could work a few different ways either like Noob-Smoke in mkd or like triborg in mk x or like ferra torr in mkx. And Michael I feel like is a no-brainer at this point. Crazy matches.

@@PopThemPills honestly liu has a button for everything he is akuma but better so playing a big body only makes that feel more so. With that said you had the combos, you know your pain and gain staggers, you won half the matches but the reason you lost was not enough b1212 lol

Ferra/Torr is actually a really strong character in the right hands. He can zone, is a great mellee and has that incredible d3. Furthermore he can win a round by 2 combos
