The SpongeBob SquarePants web games on Nick.com had an interesting start as we entered the 2010s. Let's see the ones that came out in 2012! Twitter: x.com/LuciLilium Twitch: / lucililiumgaming
Spring Showers is a clone of the web game Sugar Sugar by Bart Bonte, you should play sugar sugar and Sugar Sugar 2 you would like it. Sugar Sugar 2 has great music.
I'm very happy you pointed that out because it unlocked a core memory of mines and I couldn't remember the name of Sugar Sugar as much as I remember loving it as a kid.
We all remember 2012 like it was yesterday. We all lived life to the fullest. Was it because of the predicted natural disasters, climate change, and terrorist attacks? I don't know.
Wow. A lot more games I remember playing came out this year than I thought. Jelly Piper, The Quickster, Pizza Perfect, Spotless SpongeBob, Valentine's Day Virus, SpongeBob's Next Big Adventures, Guinniess O'Ripley's Extreme Arcade of World Records (dear lord that title). I remember playing them all. I thought that Valentine's Day Virus was released in 2013, but appearently I was wrong.
So we get Patrick Clash, and Spongebob Command? Not to mention that spring leaks is a reskin of another game called sugar sugar (Spring it on is just a reskin of Missile Command)
I remember playing these SpongeBob Flash games back then, those were my childhood. Can you talk about the SpongeBob 10th Anniversary Flash games from 2009? I remember playing those, and it was also my childhood.
The Quickster is just this old flash game series I remember playing about trying to escape a flood, forget the name though... Think it was Flood Escape?
I remember this old iphone game kinda like Sandy's Shrubbery Shakedown, but it was SpongeBob trying to save his friends from jelly fish by throwing bubbles at them I forgot the name, and this might just be some sort of like false memory but idk
Castle Challenge: The Storm kinda reminds me of vib ribbon with how specific arrows need to be used for specific obstacles Also Spring Showers seems to be based on Bart Bonte's Sugar Sugar games, and Spring it On is the old arcade game Missle Command
The Sugar Sugar resemblance I noticed almost immediately too. Granted it was one of Bart Bonte's more simple concepts so easier to port other with a skin of a popular show.
6:48 Just one question: How is Sandy still in her Treedome attire when she's at the Dutchman's Graveyard or in Rock Bottom? How is she breathing?? (Also, I don't think she ever visited those two locations in the actual show at the time of Shakedown 2's release)
At this point I no longer remember most of these games as I was outgrowing spongebob by the the time I was 10-11 years old. Does nickelodeon still make these browser games? last time I checked there wasn't any games or much of anything else or the nick website in latam, it's pretty sad, like a sign of how lame the internet has become in the age of social media and tech monopolies
Rest in peace Sarbakan and all the other game makers
I like how, even at the start of the 2010’s, these games still have old SpongeBob clip art floating around in them 😅

Squared Away is just like Patty Pile-Up from Bedtime in Bikini Bottom, but with clothes instead of patties.

He did
I covered them in my video "The SpongeBob Anniversary Games." There were so many I had to split the other 2009 games into a different video 😆
One by one, each company goes down until the end of flash, until we got the ruffle project
7:45 Basically SpongeBob's version of Tetris.
4:22 Good SpongeBob impression.

16:21 the Mansion of Cards was my favorite game from this one

You wanna see me run up to that hill and back?
You wanna see me do it again?
I can't wait until you get to the officially licensed SpongeBob ripoff of The Impossible Quiz (which the original creator wasn't even aware of)
19:55 I always thought of that game as a Sugar Sugar clone
You sound the same in 0.75 speed. What an accomplishment.
Spring shiwers reminds me of the Sugar, Sugar series by Bart Bonte

@@jacobramirez5432 I avoid the episode entirely despite loving the non butterfly scenes
3:07 To me, this part of the video is funny. “Take that negativity elsewhere, man!”.
