Mark, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. I discovered Norman’s Rare Guitars channel after being diagnosed with cancer and you’ve helped keep me entertained for the last year and inspired me to keep playing, after being a Les Paul guy my whole life I bought my first fender strat ever cause I enjoyed watching and hearing you talk about them. So Gibson picked the right man for their recovery. Make Gibson great again! I’ll miss you but I’m looking forward to what Lemmo has to offer!

Man three years seemed to go by even faster than the past two weeks. I was looking at getting my first guitar and I was looking for information on Telecasters and found a video of Mark playing an old black guard. I subscribed and three years later I don't think I've missed more than a handful of episodes. I've loved it all from the amazing guitars to the personalities to visiting the store in person to making fun of Mark's outfit in the comments. Thanks for doing all this Mark, Jen, Norm and everybody else. Yes, it sells guitars but it also gives those of us who'll probably never have chance to own most of these a look at them we'd never get. You guys really did an amazing thing - you found your lane and turned it into a freeway and now it's leading to Nashville. Mark if you're reading this congratulations, good luck and have fun at Gibson!

Mark I am not a guitar player by any means. I “try” to play my bass!!! But, I have a strong appreciation for what it takes to play the guitar. You personify professionalism. A few years ago I took a dear friend of mine to Norms. Though our interaction with you was brief you were professional and extremely welcoming to my dear friend. She sat in the store and strummed a beautiful Guild. It made her year. Thank you for all the great shows, we will definitely miss you and good luck at Gibson!!
I’m not one to ever comment on videos, but i really wanted to thank Mark for all he’s done, and the impact he’s had on me. I’ve grown so much as a player and have also grown to love music more than I thought possible. Shout out to him and good luck, and God bless you in all your endeavors, Mark!

Mark you are a total legend, made my day when you did me a happy 60th birthday shout out last year. You are such a knowledgable guy and awesome player, I literally spend hours watching guitar of the day over here in England. Sadly I’ll never own a ‘63 Strat or make it to Norman’s to see one but you brought it that bit closer to me, would love to have you y do one of my Strats but the oldest I have is a ‘79 and the “rarest” is a ‘97 Voodoo! Very best wishes to you from over the pond homie!

Gonna miss you crazy, Mark - it has been a distinct pleasure to watch as you have demonstrated your unparalleled skill on these extraordinary vintage (and on occasion, not-so-vintage) guitars - The job required technical excellence and a bit of flair, an man-oh-man, did you deliver in spades!!!! I can't tell you how many times I considered taking out a loan to purchase one of those golden era Martin 000-28's or mid 60's pre-cbs fender teles based on your flawless GOTD demos. -What most impressed me was the breadth of your repertoire; is there no style/genre you haven't mastered? Good luck in your future endeavors, Mark - i would bet big bucks you will enjoy enormous success at Gibson.

Say what the fuck you wanna say about Mark Agnesi but he is the lad who brought what we call in Ireland craic to what was before old guitars.
