  • The Curtain Call explores one of the greatest moments in not just hand-drawn animation, but in cinema itself. A masterful example of visual storytelling and making a fantastical world believable.
The Sixth Stop train scene from Hayao Miyasaki's Academy Award-winning Spirited Away (2002)
Because I live in Australia, my memories of first seeing this film was in 2003 due to our delayed release dates; especially back then.

A truly deep film that stands the tests of time and cynicism. I have watched it ten times at least since that day in 2003 where I sang shaking that ass while L complained. Its a joy to be touched by film so profoundly. I even salivated at the gross out eating scenes in the town. Ay-freaking-mazing story.

lovely video and beautiful message!! I truly wish more western movies would take inspiration from ma instead of the constant exposition dumps.
