Naked Lunch - deserves an essay of accolades from my heart! They are not only our favorite band in Dallas, Texas but each of these musicians are virtuosos in their own right. And, as is typical of most real great artists, they are people of passion, smarts, kindness and good taste!
Our favorite band in Dallas - Bravo! You guys represent the best in a band - FABULOUS real musicians....love each other, what you do and the smartness of jazz! I'm your fan forever!
Heyyyyyyyyyyy 19 would be great . They have a nice balance and natural affection . Live performances are always harder than getting just right in a studio in a sense.
Wonder if the real Dan Guys were watching this whenever it was televisied - a were they holding up score cards for each complicated musical / Vocal Piece ??? Nearly Dan are playing local trying to get tickets for them!
Lexington Lab Band - Excellence is the word. @StanleyDeeBand - with a side or humour. Brooklyn Charmers - youthful chutzpah! And yes, these guys are brilliant too!
Exciting, great job! Steely Dan tribute musicians are having to nail it down in portable venues the work that Fagen and Becker spent months, countless takes, and select studio musicians to produce. That's impressive. There is one major guitar lick missing. It's at 2;07 on the original. Miss that lick.
Ahhh, beautiful job guys and girls. The horns cut through so well, and the vocals are awesome. Check out my cover of this song and tell me what you think. You guys blow me away.
Agreed. Backup singers need to back off the mic a little bit, also. Lastly, no tribute band puts those wonderful Larry Carlton touches in the guitar solo.
A really fine performance in a challenging setting. This band has some real skills.
Wow! Terrific band!
Excellent.
Great job performing a very difficult song! Can’t wait to hear some of your other covers.

very nice job fellas
Outstanding job!!!
Really good cover of a SD classic!!!
Loved that!
Oh wow, they sound great.
One of the best true sounding Steely Dan and Donald Fagan voicing I've heard. Notice the reference of cover vs. tribute.
i love LP guitarist very much
good sounds and good play!
Nice.
That backing vocal girl , on the right ...😍❤️
Nice
Has the feel of an "Uncle Franky" tune.🙂

The part of the vid's description that caught my attention is that there is a singer chick in the band named Anal Lisa. DAYum...
Aw hell, where's the rest of Bodhisattva?😐
Carolyn Leonhart rarely smiles.

Lead guy got up and didn't shower - hair sticking up a giveaway.

The trumpet part needs to be in the middle of the saxes. It's too high in that arrangement.
I agree....but the execution is pretty tight!!!

Lead vocals......errrrr sorry but that kind of ruins this great song. Nice cover otherwise.
