... I haven't read the fic, as AU's don't USUALLY intrest me because the deviate so far from the original story line, but this... if the fic is anywhere close to being as amazing as this video, I'd say its worth a shot!!! We are Titanium brought me to your channel, but it's this video that made me a subscriber... It's not often that I actually see fanvideos where its evident that they actually took their time in creating it and possibly have some sort of background with media either as a profession OR an advanced class. Not trying to insult those who don't, by all means, I love A LOT of those as well. But seriously... weather or not you have the training under your belt... this... this video is beautiful!! I could rant and rave for DAYS about how amazing and well put together this video is!!! It's a VERY fine line thats difficult to walk when making a video like this. You don't want it to be TOO much of a fanvideo that there is NO personality added and you don't want the trailer to give away TOO much. But you have done that SO beautifully!!! Trust me when I say this, because I really do know from experience with making trailers for my own fanfiction (that I actually have to re-make now that I have Final Cut Pro X) I noticed a few mistakes, but when your working with fanvideos and not the actual, "untainted" footage (footage with out watermarks, credits, etc.), it can be difficult, yet you pulled it off VERY well!!! And the masking?? Your a a GOD at that!!! One suggestion I do have though, with the $5,000.00 check mask, I would have dimmed the check just SLIGHTLY to make it seem less obvious that it was a mask OR did a vignette around the edges so that it pulled out the focus of the check OR possibly a combination of the two. The music was a BRILLIANT choice and you mended the clips together with is in a wonderful way!!! ANYway... I wanna keep watching this video... I've already seen it twice in the time I've taken to write this.lol Beautiful job, i applaud you!!! I WILL be reading this fic in the near future, and when I leave a comment, I will defiantly be sure to let the author know this video sent me there :) ALSO! Before I forget, what program do you use for your edits??

I really don't know what to say but thank you. This video was the begining of this crazy adventure, because from the moment I started this video the words "I think I can do it" were engraved in my mind. I started to make videos in 2008 but now that I have more time to make them, well, I do things I never thought they would be possible, like manips. I am not pretty good, but I hope to be good someday.
I know the manips are not very good sometimes, but I think they are a little bit better in my latest videos (hope so) and thanks for telling me, good to hear that because these I learn of them.

and if you wanna know a thing... I thought the same way like you about AU's fanfics. And Hunnyfresh changed my opnion about them. Letters from war and Meet me halfway are a good fanfics and you should read them.

+MissLane your current manips are SO much better than what you began with. it's like that with everyone. it's just nice and refreshing to see someone actually taking the time to try and make them and make them correctly. each video I've watched today is another improvement. I've been doing videos since about 2007 (ish?) but that was just projects in high school for my media class. I wanted to peruse it as a car rear, but sadly that fell through :/ I recently began to play around with my own videos although there NOTHING compared to these.lol hut as you said, you've been fan viding linger than myself :) Either way, I still think this video is amazing. What a LOT of people faik to realize is that manipulations aren't easy. i it takes a LOT of time to find the EXACT clips needed for them. I give you mad props because j don't have the patience to fine tooth comb over good couple hundred episodes and movies to find the two best clips.lol I'm just throwing this out there, if you ever want or need advice on the technical side of a video, don't hesitate to drop me a line on here :) I'll help any way I can

I loved so many things about it. I guess my favourite is the taking pictures and the photographs and the art in the end. Their first meeting is PERFECTION. I loved family moments and Emma/Cora moment. It really feels like a trailer. Gorgeous job! And great choice of the song.

Can I suggest one little thing that could help you make the AUs more believable? Try to use a very "defined" coloring (like, idk very desaturated colors, or change the color balance to make the reds or the blues stand out) over the whole video. That way even the parts taken from different shows or made up scenes with different lighting look more connected to each other. (idk if this will help you, but i spent a couple years making AUs when I was in school and still had time to make them :P, and I've picked up a couple of useful tips)
