Who cares what the US does? Nio is not focused on this market. China and Europe and the Middle East is plenty big enough to allow Nio to grow into a very profitable company.

My family and friends had never in the stock market but they invested in real estate. Now they are thrilled to buy NIO for long term. And the news will spread quickly and later you will see people are buying NIO

It would be very difficult to do in Canada due to the sheer size of our country. Mabye in the big cities but outside of that it would useless unfortunately. Unless there was funding by the government to help build infrastructure.

Yes, and the smaller the geographical area, the easier it is for Nio to build out a critical mass of battery swap stations needed to be effective for eliminating range anxiety. Of course, China is a large area but that is the home country. The US is a large land mass and I don't see the advantage of Nio building out the swap station network there. Nio can focus on individual European nations first, reaching critical mass in Norway, Great Britain, etc. as each is a relatively small land area.
Other news out today. Zeekr successful IPO, closed at $28 vs $21 expected. According to Zeekr, Zeeker 001 is the best selling premium EV in a China in 2023, outselling NIO's ET5 and ES6. Zeekr is also priced at 300k RMB. Why aren't we talking about this ? Anyone concerned about this?

I will be buying back under $4 possibly $3 handle after Onvo shocks with tepid sales, oversold and technical bounce. More dilution coming before EOY 2025
Nio can't even get their own people in their own country to buy their car and now it's America's fault? Nio doesn't need to sell a single automobile in Europe or North America they have the largest addressable NEV market in the world. Somehow they managed to go from 4.2% market share to under 2%. Neo needs to find a way to get their own population to like their cars enough to buy in volume. The high margin high price model has totally failed the L 60 needs to be an absolute Home run
I am not sure what are politicians are doing but higher tariffs means higher inflation in the US. Our goods inflation is about to take off to oblivion. The continuing strategy to de-globalize will hurt the middle class in the US.

America is trying to do everything it can to keep Chinese EVs out. Evidence is the fourfold increase in import taxes on Chinese EVs. This will not happen in Europe. Not in those sizes anyway. The CEO of Mercedes is against it (which is a heavyweight in Europe) and there are countries in Europe that want to cooperate with China. Hungary in particular is opening up to China. More and more Chinese companies will establish themselves in Hungary and will therefore be able to avoid higher taxes in the EU. It is good that there are leaders like Emmanuel Macron and Viktor Orban who have a good relationship with China.
Ive sold my 10K shares today, had enough, Nio can't make it on Nyse, if it goes to $3 I'll buy back in and trade it. Horrible situation with USA attack on China. Held for 3 years and tired of this stock GL I'm feeling better that I'm out
