*not a true loading wall / just adding restrictions for the cone which could help control past tuning If it was a true loading wall it wouldn’t get quite when you add groceries Adding groceries can make your cabin smaller but that’s not killing output like that *box flexing - add bracing, dont just add wood “trust me “ *been watching a few of your videos Cool seeing new TH-camrs emerge Just watch what you say - some of these guys will practice what you preach so choose wisely 👊🏼
Thanks for the advice! I agree, it is strange that when I fill the back seats, the sound gets quieter, but it also sounds like I am almost distorting it badly in that scenario. I guess it starts getting picky about what frequencies it likes and does not like.
I wish it were! I have 4 layers on the front, and lots of internal bracing, like 2" dowel rods front to back and side to side. However, my back wall flexes a lot at 150 db. The sides so far seam to take it well, but I know when I start to put serious power to it, I will be surprised! Who knows what will flex next! Thanks for the love!
Yeah, it is crazy what can change and distort sound waves. I am always surprised by various changes I make and how they change the audio! Thanks for the feedback!
Nice work ,you already have taken it as far as you can except maybe bracing the box inside more .
Thanks! I braced the inside of the box as much as I could. The removable port made it hard to brace on the inside but it helped!

@@caraudiolab yup - all frequency dependent 🔥👊🏼
That is one heavy duty box dude

Interesting. Many things can distort those sound waves
