- This is a Gujarati Dish named Khamman, it's a Authentic dish of Gujarat made with Chickpeas and mixed with some refreshing Ingredients, basically it's served in breakfast only and you must watch this video to learn How to make Khaman.
Serving For 3 People
Ingredients :
Chickpeas = 200g
Black Pepper = Half tsp
Curd = 2tsp
GingerChilli Paste = 2tsp
Turmeric Powder = Half tsp
Salt = As per taste
Baking Soda = Half tsp
For Tadka
Oil = 3tsp
Mustard Seeds = 1tsp
Asofoetida = Half tsp
Green Chilli = 3to4 split
Sugar = 1tsp
Water if required

For Garnishing
Coriander Leaves, Chilli and Onion

Mainly Nylon khaman & Vatidal na khaman. Abhi to unke bhi kai versions milte hain market me..

Traditional Dhokla is made with rice and different lentils, sometimes with semolina.. Khaman is basically made with chana dal only or chickpea flour.

Ye naylon khaman hai or vati dal khaman alg hota hai khaman ko khattimeethi kadhi k sath khate hai or dhokla bhi different hota hai dhokla greenchutny ya lahsun chutney k sath khate hai

My goodness this is my favourite 💕 but I don't know how to make or I must say it doesnot come right coz I don't live in India and the fermentation won't happen well.
I have the same problem, you could use besan (chickpea flour) instead of the lentils. There are many videos on TH-cam for 'instant khaman dhokla' that you could follow.

This is called khaman only, in dhokla u need to add rice of some proportion with chana dal. I don't like most people call it khaman dhokla😡 and yes ur real voice is nice.
