There's many complaints and cons and pros I have for this game, but one of the nickpick thing is, why do they not use the battlefield environment background for the characters ultimate skil. It always feels wrong it went from desert, to a traning room.
I'm kind of in the same boat. The game play looks like it has a lot of potential but there are a ton of things they could do to make it bad so I'm trying to stay grounded.

As an old GFL player seeing the Genshin gacha system was really disappointing, I love Mica team but I'll probably have to just stare at what dolls are good on CN then save for only those ones, especially if they're stingy with the pulling currency.
Having a 1 year gap between CN and global is good, so that you don't hit the wall and run out of content of mess around with. It's pretty easy to get caught up with contents especially when players are too fast a grinding.
I don't think the 1 year gap is even a good thing. The streamers, I like to watch might not even play it. Cause the one year gap causes issues as well as drama between CN content creators vs global content creators.

ngl, gameplay seems to be too simplistic i haven't seen much interactions between enemy' mechanics and units skills to counter it, and mostly it just looks like "deal damage" and "heal damage" loop. Since they removed hit chance and enemy pack' trigger from Xcom, this feels it's going to be a simple "i hit you, you hit me" which will become repetitive real fast but maybe i'm wrong and there will be depth to combat; that would be great
@@godo9358 yeah, if they're trying to appeal to existing SRPG fans they really need to increase the complexity of fights for higher levels otherwise people will quit quickly. Hopefully it's only simple for early levels as a tutorial?
ive played the girls frontline 1. Invested a year and its not worth it. There are BETTER gacha like wuva, hsr, honkai, etc with better story, character designs. I think this is more of a side gacha that if you have time to play then you can add it to your list of dailies to do but not worth the headaches. Im juggling 3 gacha games and thats enough for me
@@bobjohnson6131 now that i've played it myself, i'm positively surprised since it's not what i though it would be i expected something like Xcom with rng-mitigation and cover-hugging, but turns out it's more like chess stage, or puzzle - i calculate how many actions i need to finish the stage and try to optimize it. Everything usually ends in 2-3 turns. It's pretty simple, but way more satisfying than i though it would be

I cant play gacha games where waifu wrapped with gameplay. I need gameplay wrapped with waifu. If you want waifu, just play koikatsu or make a mmd. But if you like gameplay then waifu, you can play stellar blade etc.

Yah, how can a game with this quality dare to copy HYV's predatory gacha system? I thought game like this would have more generous Gacha system. A big turn-off.
Ngl, I am pretty excited to try GFL2 but kinda disappointed by the fact a game with this not-so-top-tier level of quality have that predatory Gacha System from HYV (50/50 system with 80 pity + low 0.6% rate for chars and 75/25 system with 70 pity + low 0.7%). It seems like this company are in GACHA to milk the tf out of players. Personally, the more predatory the gacha system is, the less I am likely to spend. I will check it out but since turn-based is only something I think I might be into (not the genre I like most), I am likely to drop this soon.
