@@mrsmartypants_1 I have been invited every year since the first event but Rampage was too close and to be faire I was not very interested on going. Now that the event has mature and it happens in July... I may want to go!
@@remymetailler Yeah I know. I was trolling you. Once a year I post that you should do Hardline and you never bite because of that lame event out in the Utah desert. I think Hardline is custom made for a free rider who styles Whistler/Squamish. Get that French buddy of yours to enter too - Yoann? Something like that. 😉
Reece, “[…the lad from the Tweed valley…] Got the job done!” Honestly man, so good to see style and directed power producing the same speeds over that course as grunt and big frames. Athleticism and skill is the reason U.K. riders straighten those hard lines wherever they go! Cracking job 🥳🥳🥳
@@e-bikerides4618 They gave him a proper bike alright! He changed the forks and cassette and smashed it!!!! think the range has DH geometry already tbf. Didn't have the same rear travel as the others that's all
That was an amazing run Lewis. 12th is an huge achievement - even better considering you were battered for your practice crash + it was your first year at the event too! Mad respect to you sir. What were your hopes for the week before you arrived? Just to make it down the course and survive?
Mad respect for doing so well on the event and for taking us with you I really enjoy the videos and the way you explain stuff can't think of anything to improve the videos so far.
Nailed it, absolute scorcher, full send… I’ve run out of hyperboles. Full on respect Lewis, such a great run, top man and proper respect! Be well and stay safe.
Shows just how capable today’s trail/enduro machines are 👍🏻 - cracking riding too, you can see the difference in speed when you watch a freerider back to back with a downhiller on something like this.
Well done lewis. Considering im English i was cheering you on more than any of the English riders. Big respect after that crash. Riding that and on an Enduro bike too. Well done
the commentator reaction at 0:50 ...........the sharp intake of breath as you narrowly skirted disaster off the side! Musta been an eye-full! insanium!
Watched it live and thought you were going to win! Fastest enduro time, sooooooo good. I had butterflies watching your run, absolutely brilliant Lewis, you da man!
What a result, out of all the competitors I see this as a win, well done man, there is nothing like this up the Tweed Valley, this must have been a massive accomplishment for you. Hope to see you there next year, very well done.
Smashed it. Hold your head very high as Norco ambassador. Proper high publicity event and very well done for stepping up and believing in yourself through to racing. Hope you heal fast as possible.
Incredable achievement! All considered !! Big nasty fall and it didn't dent your confidence on such an outrageous trail !! Really brightened up an ordinary Tuesday evening 🤣🤙looking forward to my Thursday evening ride more so now at Hopton woods ! Well done
was so stoked for you seeing you recovered enough to make finals day - you were so gutted at the end of the crash video - and then to put down that storming run - amazing stuff.
You did Scotland proud, young fella. All week I was hoping you just got down safely. Then when I saw your injuries I was even more nervous, and when it became apparent you were flying down the course I was a nervous wreck. Bloody exciting stuff! Even got me off my seat, which is no mean feat seeing as I’m 54 and well out of shape. 👍
That run was soo sick! The way you raced the course rather than just trying to survive the features was insane. I think you’ve created the extreme enduro category and I loved the cameo from the dropper at the start 😂. Single crown forks for next year?!!
Mega run, you set the precedent for the other racers following you and on an enduro bike. Massive kudos and I think you should get a dh bike again and see what is possible
Epic, brother! Way to show everyone what's up! And after that nasty crash! Buchanan is Scot for Big Iron Balls. You're on podium next year! Big respect
Great run!.. big respect for this man..’1st time on hardline with an enduro bike, with no big jumps at home!.. Norco must be proud of you by doing!.. respect!
That Norco Range already looked like a DH bike with Enduro spec parts, it looks super at home with a dual crown and that plus your skill? Beautiful stuff man. Beautiful.
Holly crap, I watched your track walk and I could feel exactly like what you were trying to describe😱. To achieve what you just did, and on an Enduro rig, blows my mind😱. Keep believing in yourself man, you got the skills, feel and balls to get to the top, no doubt🤟👏👏👏
Kick ass bro! So happy for you. You definitely put up this past weekend. I bet this did wonders for your confidence! Many more to come now im sure. Cheers man
You done fantastic mate, superb run despite the unintended flying lesson you got during practice! I watched that again from the practice session in slow mo - unreal dude, so glad you were able to race and hope you are back to full-strength in a couple of weeks...🤘💪
Fair play sick riding even without the injury’s , but massive respect for doing such a good job. Shame there were no spectators, would have loved to get to come and watch. Enjoying your content 👍
Brilliant dude! Such a buzz watching that run and some of those lines. Well done! Great commentary too - they should get them onto BBC commentary team for the olympics - they’d improve it x1000.
You've achieved so much this year man!! I hope you do a recap to show us all. !! Now it's time to check out that bike and the prices. Insane what that bike can handle!

And he's on a much shorter travel bike than the rest of them
As long as you can have confidence on a shorter bike you be faster as they are more twitchy and will change direction quicker
