My wife and I married in Maui. We had this song included on our wedding video.
It is a beautiful song and Ke'a'li'i Reichel is among my favorite musicians of any style of music and among my favorite of all vocalists.
I hope to see him perform live soon. When my wife would nurse (breastfeed) our first child, a daughter, to sleep at night, my wife would play the album this song is recorded on. It was such a gentle, beautiful atmosphere for such a touching, loving way to raise our daughter.

I just saw Keali'i Reichel in concert, and what an experience. Great sense of humor, too. Love his voice.

More and more, I come to appreciate the Hawaiian culture's respect for the many shapes and sizes of women's bodies. I used to be morbidly obese, but now slightly overweight. I love that there is more than one standard of beauty.

Oh no! I missed the event. I went to the one w/Na Leo in SM beach though. He is such a great singer.

She might be Nona Beamer's daughter-in-law? Keola's wife, Moanalani? I had the opportunity to see Keola and Monalani in Oregon, and she's a beautiful dancer. As for Keali`i - gorgeous voice, gorgeous man - with a beautiful spirit too.

Does anyone know if Ke'a'li'i Reichel ever performs with Bryan Kessler, one of the musicians who performed with the All Hawaiian Band?

@bqndc Every state has its own distinct and outstanding culture. We just happen to like ours better,
but we are wrong to disparage others. That is anti-aloha spirit.
