I think I could make one a little larger and use it for putting rolls/biscuits on the dining table for holidays. I love that you show how to use the pot lid rather than having to print a template. Great idea!
I have made this basket many times with 8 slots and they work well too. I will be trying them with 6 slots too, these make wonderful gifts. Thanks for sharing your method they are beautiful in almost ant fabric. Have a happy day sewing.
This is such a pretty little basket. You could make it out of fall colors/pattern fabric and use it for dinner rolls at Thanksgiving. Just use one of the fabrics used in the basket and make it to be a cover to keep the rolls warm. I always get inspired by your videos. These were made about 50 years ago as hot roll holders! About 30-35 years ago, I saw them made with a drawstring in the outer edge as a travel jewelry holder. This is so pretty and practical whatever you want to put in it!

Obviously, I hate that name for it but what can you do. 😒 I cannot wait to make one for myself. Perhaps Making a bit larger circle would make a useful working basket fir EPP projects. Store clips, forms, threads, thimbles, snips of fabric, small scissors, pins, thread glide s , etc. All in one place, just pick it up and go. I have something a bit similar only large enough to hold a nice size dinner roll. It is made out of percale with eyelet trim and looks very festive at the table setting. Your TH-cam is a delite to follow and I love your enthusiasm. Thanks.
I have an old brown paper pattern from my Granny Bailey. It has three layers. I make during holidays with cookies/small pastries and wrap with cellophane as gifts and to sell.

Candy, party favors, some veggies (carrot sticks, broccoli, celery sticks, cherry tomatoes, etc.) and pretty much anything small enough to fit!

Such a pretty project. Just think how pretty it would be if you make the printed circle out of a piece of "scrap fabric" that is made by sewing various pieces of scraps together. I wanna make so many of these for my sewing area and as gifts to my family and friends. TYSM for the inspiration to make them. They are so pretty and unique to me.

This is so cute!!! I have some fabric disks with interfacing inside already made that I was going to make more face masks with, but decided I didn't like that style of mask as much as others. Now I can make this really quickly since I will only need to sew the 6 2" lines and the 1" hand-stitched pinched part. Thanks Vivian! I love this idea.
