- here is our 4th of July grocery haul.
I brought Izzy, Noah, and my husband. It was quite the trip, they decided to start out by playing hide and go seek in the grocery store. Luckily, it was really slow.
My husband was very helpful. He pushed the cart, drink my Starbucks without me knowing, try to drink Izzys, but she caught him sooner than I did. I didn’t realize it until we are checking out and I thought oh my coffee. My husband said he’d buy me another one, but they were closed and he also said that it was pretty good. 😂😂
He asked if he could put everything on the checkout and I thought wow that’s super nice. I look up at Izzy ‘s face to see my husband throwing everything on the check out without organizing it. That’s not how we do things. 😂
but it was very nice to have my husband around because he’s been working so hard and it was a nice break. We also got lunch and then just kind of hung out for the rest of the day. It was a very nice Fourth of July weekend.

I had to giggle w the Gruyere pronunciation 😂 it's Gree-yair believe it or not..its a wonderful cheese in Mac N Cheese too! Its a salty/nutty cheese. Its great w potatoes roasted or French Onion Soup etc. Even a cheese for grilled cheese ❤❤

I love this!! We always send my husband for something we "forgot" all the way in the department farthest from our check out line lol.. My daughter gave her dad the same look, that's when she decided this trick lol

Lol I was just at Meijer in Sturgis Michigan an we don't have a Starbucks but we have Five Lakes coffee Heather the burban Gouda is soooooo good an the fruit by the foot is called fruit roll ups

Next time you go to Shipshewana you need to stop at Heritage Ridge Creamery. It's on the road between Shipsee and Middlebury. Great cheeses and awesome butter!

Just a curiosity question: Why do you buy prepackaged meats and cheese as opposed to going to the deli and have them sliced? I realize special cheeses would be prepackaged. Seems like deli would be less expensive.

Fruit by the foot, it’s in the video on the package lol. Fruit roll ups are rolled in plastic and are a square sheet.
