My area is so weird. I listed all the cameras for sale, everything for $350. Crickets. Nothing. I went to the pawn shop and they didn't want it because it was film and not digital. I reduced the price, then reduced it again and today, sold the whole group for $140. I probably should do more resale so I don't remember only the tough sales. 😡
My eldest son would have had a stroke, aneurysm, heart attack and straight out died if he had found those cameras. He has an extensive collection, his favourite is a baby box. That was an awesome collection you found, well saved.
Someone is throwing away Mom's /Dad's or Grandmother's/Grandfather's cameras. Those cameras were hundreds of dollars each back in the 1990's. Plus the lenses could cost hundreds AND the camera case too. Lots and lots of money thrown away at the curb. I know everyone has a camera on their phones nowadays but there are still individuals who like, appreciate and want old, good quality cameras and lenses. Those could be professional quality cameras too and worth some good money. I'm happy to hear you had no leaks from your roof Paul. Good news! Yeah!
Yep I have gotten into old school cameras. Lens can be adapted to the new cameras. I have done just that. Using all the old lens on newer cameras with mounting adapters. Don't just trash them. Someone will take them from you.
I would have those cameras assessed at a camera shop . They may take them off your hands as well . The lenses are especially valuable as some of them can be used on digital cameras . I hope you have good luck in selling them . Those cases probably match some of the cameras . That was such an awesome load and find. Have a Blessed week Keep Safe ❤Keep Well❤

Wow,what a score on the cameras and equipment! The other you tubers I watch are grabbing the cameras like crazy. They sell them on ebay. They say to always grab the old electronics even vcrs and dvd players. I guess the walkman and things like that too. You could set a booth or have a yard sale with all your great finds to add to your scrap money.😊
Thanks for another great video Paul. I wasn't having a good day and I saw your video and it made my day. Let us know how the restaurant is when you get a chance to go there. Enjoy your sunny day and no storms like that one the other night, that was bad. Thanks for being you 😊
Happy Wednesday Paul! Those cameras made me miss the massive old camera collection I had and built up since I was a kid and had to sell incredibly cheap because I needed the money.
Hey Paul good pickup on the cameras. I think some of what you said were lenses covers were actually some filters for the lenses. I know many people who prefer film cameras rather then the digital cameras of today. I still have my Minolta 35 km and have 2 digital cameras. I would rather the film prints any day. I also loved the bag of angry toys/dinosaurs you found I hope you kept a few for your collection. At first I thought you were editing the noise in but then I said no that is the toys!😊 Thanks for the prayers and so glad that you had no leaks during your storms. Have a great day. ✌💞🙏💖🕯
Great find for you! You might take some to a camera shop and see if you can have the film developed. When I saw those cameras my first thought was someone passed.😢 Whoever put them out has no respect for that person.
Good morning Paul nice pick up on those cameras love the vintage one you’re probably looking at a lot of money if you sale them. Thank you for the prayer I need it today hasn’t been a good week for me. Thank you for taking us along you have a blessed day 😊
Seems like the lenses would work on modern cameras unless they made it so you had to buy new lenses for digital cameras, which wouldn't surprise me. Thanks Plau!!
Doesn’t it make you wonder why people get rid of bed frames when they could reuse them? It will be an interesting study finding out what the value of those cameras is.
Hi Paul, Those cameras - what a find!! I used to work for a wedding photographer and the camera he used was a Hasselblad. It takes square negatives so photos can be cropped to both view and portrait, and he paid thousands of £s for it. You said it looked like one from the 1920s, my boss used his Hasselblads from the early 1980s up until 2014. It looks older style but isn't - its a professional camera. It was certainly your lucky day. Love your videos, been watching for quite some time now. I love it when you finish with a short film of Olivia and Minion. Good luck to you. Beverley in the UK
There are certain items you tend to find that are worth way more than scrap value! Those shepherds hooks are not cheap to buy at the store. I never scrap those when I find them.
I want to say thank you Paul for caring about not only for those in your immediate sphere but also for your fans as well. Your inquiry yesterday regarding my health after my heat attack on August 31 2023 was so touching and appreciated. Go let everybody else know the Lord blessed me when I had my heat attack because my left anterior descending artery had a /00% blockage bug the Lord had caused the right artery of my heart to branch over and provide blood to the blocked area. Turned out there was no damage done to my heart . The doctors have gotten my BP in check for the first time in decades. They also found I was diabetic with my A1C being at 11.5. Today it is down to 6.5. The heart attack also got the weight loss I had started in 2017 kick started back up and I am now down 100 pounds since 7/6/2017. Again thank you Paul got you love and caring attitude.
Great find on the cameras Paul there are still collectors that are looking for the older film cameras. In fact I have started selling off my collection. In the last month I’ve sold around 10 pieces of my collection out of the 100 pieces I had in my collection. Nothing in my collection was anywhere as nice as what you find. Most pawn shops probably will not take film cameras anymore. Your best bet is to post them online and hope you find the right collector(s).

Great about the cameras! We sold a lot of antique cameras years ago to a guy. Probably should have held onto them! Maybe worth alot more money nowadays 😊
Film cameras still have an audience, even 90s cameras. Those look like someone curbed Grandpa's old collection instead of researching it. A crying shame until Paul scarfed it! The twin lens isn't as old as it wants to be, but it's pushing 50 at the youngest; the company closed in 1976. (I looked it up). My dad taught me to handle straight-load before learning 35mm; his cameras were older than I was. The big lenses are still worth a good whack.
So, you admit to being not fit enough to pick up the keep fit rig and then in your haste to not park in the street long enough, you cut the cord from one device, but then passed up the cable drum full of cord on the curb.
Wow, Paul, that kind of looks like what I found in my dad’s things. Quite a few very nice, expensive looking cameras. Some in their brown leather casings.
You showed your collection of closed hermetic compressors in your shop but you threw one away today. In that heavy white looking box, that kind of like a heater, that was a dehumidifier and it had a small hermetic compressor in it. You could have salvaged if you wanted to.
@@ScrapPalletMan I don't know, maybe the reason it was thrown out and stopped working was cause it had leaked out and had already leaked out. You're not supposed to be able to take refrigerators to the recycling place, if they still have an intact compressor and freon system. It's supposed to be vacuumed out and saved before that. I'm not getting on your case, really I just was pointing it out.
